Finally your ID makes sense! Thank you for that.

And i have no idea what you put in your food in NA... I've never heard of this problem in Europe or Australia, but i do know that my poop has never smelled as bad as the week i was in us.

Because "spicy" is not a flavor.

He's obviously talking about the ring of fire. And it's quite simply because your body doesn't digest (all the) capsaicin. Your intestinal tract doesn't have the receptors to "feel" the burn, but your anus does. So when that curry comes out the other side: ring of fire.

Why would evolution do such a thing?

We think it was a defence mechanism from the plant towards animals.

By binding to the TRPV1 receptor, the capsaicin molecule produces similar sensations to those of excessive heat or abrasive damage, explaining why the spiciness of capsaicin is described as a burning sensation.

In essence, the body inflames tissues as if it has undergone a burn or abrasion and the resulting inflammation can cause tissue damage in cases of extreme exposure, as is the case for many substances that cause the body to trigger an inflammatory response.

Presumably having sensitive skin around your anus gives you certain advantages. Or protecting your anus from feeling capsaicin was never an evolutionary pressure in the first place.

How long do they extremely hot peppers really exist for? Aren't they a recent product of human cultivation? We could have had no chance to adapt if there were only reasonably hot things in the nature only until recently.

Probably then we can conclude that a capsaicin-proof asshole isn't advantageous for reporduction

Doesn't mean we've been eating them for that long. Perhaps Aztecs did adapt burn-proof assholes, but Cortez went and wiped them all out.

Indians and pakistanis have eaten food with a lot of spice for a long time. And a lot of black pepper. But to my knowledge they didn't eat anything containing capsicum, which to my knowledge is what fucks your asshole, until like, 1800-ish.

Capsicum is the genus of plants that produce the chemical in question, which is called capsaicin.

obvious conclusion here is that assholes get used with the fucking.
And my fury stands ready. I bring all your plans to nought. My bleak heart beats steady. 'Tis you whom I have sought.

This university I have been applying too just awarded me a full scholarship (that I did not sign up) for their next academic year and wants me to sign an undertaking but they have not sent me an acceptance letter yet. I know this is really dumb, but I want to make sure there are not loopholes before I do a pre-mature celebration.
