(caring, stable family with happy kids ... but there is a room in the basement where on sundays, laughing maniacally, they paint stars in false colours) | ||

I don't disagree that there's many ways to analyze the impact of an action--just saying that the intent of the action is often meaningless when discussing the results of it. | ||

Fair enough. Understanding the underlying intent can be useful if you want to extrapolate from the results however. | ||
