Natural is somewhere between living naked in the wilderness only using your teeth to eat animals you killed with your bare hands, and looking for labels on shit you buy that says natural on them. Medication is anything you do improve your health. Doctors prescribe everything from "sleep it off" to surgery. All of that lies in the realm of medication. When people talk about drugs/medicine what they are talking about is a subset (pharmacuticals) of a subset (consumed) of a subset (chemistry focused) of a subset (direct treatment) of the world of medicine. It is, for the most part, an absolutely ridiculous and anti-science stance. | ||

To me it seems simple enough, they got the girl pregnant but he no longer wants to be in a relationship. They end the relationship and agree upon visitation and child support, or disagree and have a court proceeding over custody/visitation/support. I agree that her using an abortion as a bargaining chip is deplorable but it seems like your friend doesn't want to face the consequences of getting someone pregnant if it's at all an effective tactic. There are legal avenues to take for financial abortion, I think. I'm not well versed in law. | ||

Either she is a single mom at 20 who hates her child (Probably not a good idea) Or he fakes a relationship exactly until she aborts, at which point he runs like hell, never to return. None of those sound particularly desirable. Bottom line: Be careful who you stick your dick into if you don't want to have children (Or even in general), especially if you do that without a condom. | ||

Do you really think that the girl will decide just like that "yeah if he doesn't come back I'm going to be a mother at 20 with a child I don't want nor love", thus pretty much fucking up her life in the process?^^ I think she's just desperate, thus the blackmail, but won't really apply her thread if he doesn't come back. Unless she has an actual psychatric disorder, and then it's another story. | ||

At least, In France, you have to prove that she's blackmailing you and shit, Then you will face the law for a looong process in order to be acquitted. But you will live your all life while knowing u have a kid around that you don't even know | ||

You cannot be forced to see the child or take any decision for the child. If the mother tries to force this on you, you can get a lawyer and avoid them. But, as long as you are the father (from a genetic point of view), you will always have legal obligation to provide for the child (financially), even if she blackmailed you (this part is a right of the child, which takes precedence over mother and father). | ||
