You cannot be forced to see the child or take any decision for the child. If the mother tries to force this on you, you can get a lawyer and avoid them. But, as long as you are the father (from a genetic point of view), you will always have legal obligation to provide for the child (financially), even if she blackmailed you (this part is a right of the child, which takes precedence over mother and father). I was talking about parentak right & obligations. But you are totally right about financial part.

Why is are all the other TeamLiquid sites for video games (Dota, LoL etc) responsive/optimized for mobile and not the STARCRAFT one? Does this show Liquid's priorities towards respective communities?

Dude, its not responsive. Like if you resize the window, it does not change to a mobile version nor does it scale down to smaller things or something that works well on phones.

Seeing as how he doesn't really participate in this section of TL anymore, I'd say that it's impossible to ask him. And I already tried a few times anyways. TL just doesn't give a shit about SC2 anymore when compared to its other money making games.

What are you talking about? Oh yeah you're that troll. Sure, TL doesn't care about StarCraft lol.

He's not as baller as that other one though...

Well to be fair to swag_bro, TL.net's design feels a bit old compared to LL for example.

The mobile versions are almost the exact same, are you sure you're not looking at the desktop version? I remember there's an error worry if you switch to the desktop version on your mobile it's really hard to switch back. I think you had to clear your cookies or something

I had no choice but to switch to the desktop version on my phone. The mobile version for exclusively the Starcraft one and no other game is not very user friendly and is arguably worse than the desktop version on a phone. Then I go to sites like LiquidDota and LiquidLegends and they are perfectly responsive and works/looks like how a modern 2015 mobile site should. Just because tournaments like The International and LCS have more money and viewers than WCS doesn't mean TL should neglect us. We are the ones that made TL this big and sponsored by huge companies like HTC and Nissan in the first place.
Edit: The mobile versions of all other TL video game sites have a good hamburger style menu button that expands upon clicking. The mobile version of the Starcraft site has these small menu buttons that you need to zoom into in order to press.
Sad to see teams that once cared for SC like TL and EG now throw us in the back burner just because other games have more viewers.

To what degree do social sites with an upvote system create group think and normalised contributions?

I agree. Even though there's internet anonymity, belonging to a social forum still brings with it a level of social desirability among users (especially new users who aren't trolls). It's very easy to upvote things that everyone else is upvoting, for example, to feel like you fit in.

belong to a community? You sound like communist advocate looking for everyone to conform to a norm.
Social sites do not need an up voting system for people to contribute well. You really have this groupthink thing down don't you?
Not everyone needs to or wants to feel like they fit in. You're an American, you should know all about individualism, so why are you heavily advocating conformity?
