Yesterday night I put my computer on charger and that blew a fuse or something. The whole village I'm staying in for vacation got dark. Haven't yet decided if that's awful or hilarious. | ||

Usually your house should have its own fuse that cuts out first, and even the actual wires in the house should melt before you can draw enough current to blow a village-level fuse. Even if you short-circuit the electricity, the whole village shouldn't go dark. And attaching your charger can not be worse than short-circuiting. | ||

I'm getting married and half of my fiancee's family doesn't care. my mom doesn't want to me to get married, but doesn't even have the ovaries to outright say so. she prefers throwing out passive-aggressive comments and ignoring everything positive about this event. and she doesn't even dislike my fiancee (which is good in and of itself, but makes it even harder to understand wtf her problem is). | ||

Our cat died this morning, after being run over by a car in front of my house on saturday morning. We did everything we could, two trips to the vet, one to a specialist clinic and everything looked so good, No broken bones, maybe minor internal injury. We were so thankful and relieved. She drank, ate and had no real signs of injury anymore, even went outside, basically was herself again. I looked after her the whole time. My mom even prayed and promised to go to church again, because we thought we made it. Then she just lay under the couch and was dead this morning. She was the best cat. A tiny jet black, green eyed Cleopatra. She tried to answer me when i talked to her. Slept in my bed every night. She did some tricks, like playing fetch. No special diet needs, clean, super smart and affectionate towards our family, careful of strangers, just the bestest of girls. 7 years was not enough. All our cats normally reach 15-20 years, i cannot accept it and say she had a good life, it was too short. Fuck the person, who ran her over and just fucked off. It's for the better that we most likely will never know. Please don't text and drive. Watch the Werner Herzog documentary if you think, it's not that big of a deal. | ||

The cat I had for 19 years and dearly loved died last year after a horrible year in which she was diagnosed terminal cancer, then ran away and got run over 3 and a half months later. In the end I was lucky I even found her. It still haunts me, so I can understand your pain. It's just unfair, especially when they die as early as yours. Stay strong. | ||

What's happening to my body really makes me want to die. All I can see in my future is ever increasing pain, humiliation and isolation. Not a single person on earth receives good by my being alive, though 2 or 3 would feel great pain if I died.
