The Scottish National Party, Nicolah Sturgeon and people who think Nicolah Sturgeon is a good idea. Firstly National parties are a horrible idea as they blame the entire problems of the country on things outside of the country and hide an undercurrent of racism. Secondly Nicolah Sturgeon is just a puppet of that fat fucking salmon who hates England, blames England for all the problems of Scotland and stated he would hold Westminister to ransom for a coalition. She's an arrogant tool and I hate her. Then you add in people who think she is a good idea or whatever because she performed well in a few debates. Yeh well no fucking shit it is easy to act superior in a leadership debate when YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN IN A POSITION OF LEADERSHIP because you have nothing the other parties can criticise you on , it's hard to say the SNP didn't manage the economy very well because the only thing they have ever managed to do is lose a referendum despite roping in idiotic 16 y/o to vote for independence because "fuck england right, im so fucking edgy with my spots and horrible fucking dress sense" And it's easy to snipe at other parties because they have actually been doing things "oh you did this to the economy, you did this to the NHS" yeh you can point out mistakes but you have done absolutely nothing because you have never been in a position to do anything. They don't even offer a reasonable alternative, they just want to fuck up the UK, vote us to force a shitty coalition so scotland can take power away from westminister. They don't even outline what they would do differently , I have no ideas on their policies apart from "fuck england" seriously I hope they get obliterated in the elections, unfortunately there are enough stupid people in the UK that they will get votes.

Survivorman is a show made by Les Stroud, a middle aged Canadian badass who, for the show, showed us how to survive for like 5-7 days in the wild in various countries, alone (unlike Bear Grylls), carrying his camera gear. It's pretty amazing, and it's perhaps more useful than Man vs. Wild which is like "IN THIS CASE YOU WANT TO CLIMB THAT MOUNTAIN REALLY FAST WITHOUT ANY SAFETY GEAR". Yeah Bear, right away. Anyway survivorman has been both informative and entertaining, but I found out just now that his current season is basically all about the "Sasquatch" and "Bigfoot". It's essentially a big farce where Les Stroud shows us what confirmation bias is. The highest, most obvious form of confirmation bias. It's painful to see.

We are of the same mind on what set him apart from the crap that came after him. But hey can you really blame him? My guess is that's what will get ratings and will pay for him to do what he loves. If it's any consolation Jane Goodall says she believes in some sort of Big Foot. (could be the same issue).

Or alternatively, there is some sort of large primate that zoologists have not properly gotten to, which is an interesting thing to posit and perhaps such a rare animal does exist. Yet the last two episodes of a previous season were dedicated to bigfoot, and Les followed a guide around and he's show him signs of the bigfoot. Branches bent in such and such ways, trees forming certain semi-complex structures that could easily be human made. The guide was obviously a stakeholder who could have constructed the whole thing, and Les's pessimism was extremely limited. He just agreed with almost everything the guide said and cruised along the tour. At the end of the show he was pretty much 100% convinced that there is a bigfoot despite having gathered extremely circumstantial evidence in an area that is clearly well known and possibly rigged by the people who happen to run the bigfoot gift shop at the bottom of the trail. You can't do this to me, Les.

Do we just have to accept the fact that Sc2 is completely doomed because Blizzard is too fucking stubborn to ever make it F2P and it's not super easy for casuals? Because I don't want it to be the case that a brilliant esport dies because fucking casuals can't get into it in 2 minutes. I mean, if it wasn't for WCS right now the foreign scene would be completely fucking dead, and while Korea is looking fairly okay, it's not as exciting to watch only Korean players all the time really. I need my foreign mediocrity fix once in a while. All this sudden hype over Heroes of the Storm, thousands of people tweeting about it on twitter, and let's not forget that Blizzard has already pumped more money into one college tournament than they do for Blizzcon finals, it's all making SC2 feel like a complete joke in comparison. + Show Spoiler + Frankly StarCraft died with BW to me. SC2 pales in comparison to what BW was and it is clear the Blizzard of today is not the Blizzard of 1998. The Korean scene which propelled the e-sports vision is now barely hanging on and Blizzard doesn't seem that interested beyond selling another expansion and closing their chapter on RTS. It sucks writing this on a website dedicated to StarCraft but I just don't see LotV revitalizing anything or sparking some mass interest. Most we will get is a top slot on Twitch for a few weeks after release then the game goes back to not even top 10 on the frontpage. Hmm I don't think transforming SC2 F2P and making it super casual would really solve anything. BW was tough as nails to play and needed payment yet attracted a large fanbase because it had a great custom map scene. But with so many new free or cheap games on Steam or browsers which occupy the space those customs BW had and develop the genre further or with skins and such SC2's customs can't compete.
