OMG peaches?! I love peaches! :3 I'm all excited and pick up the bag and right on the bottom, this spider just glaring at me. I freaked and dropped the bag and the spider fell off and started running under the table. I caught it with a cup and put it outside. Shit, what I hate most is being taken by surprise and being scared shitless. And I think I bruised my peach ![]()

Spiders are harmless... well most are... and the venomous ones, won't touch you if u leave it the fuck alone.. Spiders are actually some of the most helpful and productive insects around... They're your lil' buddies cleaning up yo house and stuff. Would be rude to just mash the lil' buggers... they aint ever done you anything !

Hate having flies bussing around my head, especially mosquitoes. It's like they are taunting you - 'Hey there. See me? See me buzzing around your head? Yeah. Just letting you know I'm here. Because when you're asleep, I'm going to be nomming on you. I'll find me a nice, soft piece of flesh and just go to town. You'll have a nice mark you can scratch, it'll drive you crazy. Why am I telling you all this? Because I want you to know.' Bastards.

Not to mention the spiders. I'll stick to my happy island nation with small insects, thanks!

Cordyceps: These are a type of fungus that LITERALLY MIND CONTROL insects into doing what the fungus wants. In this video, the fungus mind controls an ant, sends it up a tree where the fungus grows out of the ant's body and then explodes, infecting more ants. + Show Spoiler + Nematomorph Worm: This is another type of mind controlling worm that mind controls crickets/grasshoppers and makes them commit suicide by jumping into water. After they make the insect commit suicide they just swim in the water like total ballers. + Show Spoiler + These are just some ideas to get you people thinking. These things are the human equivalent of something mind controlling us and getting us to fistfight a pack of rabid bears. Nature is scary!!!

Extremely interesting, and I would definitely be afraid of that stuff if something could take over my head and bust out. Also, idk if they were mentioned earlier in this thread but anyone afraid of these? + Show Spoiler +

![]() I did find a beast, very similar to this, in my backpack (cointaining my lunch) during work break. I thought it was a normal spider at first so I kicked it out of my god damn stuff.... OBVIOUSLY dozens of those freaky things dropped into it when I did that. I didn't end up eating that day.

Asking an Aussie if they're afraid of bugs is like asking someone if they're afraid of lions - an Australian insect is just as fierce, but can probably fly, and instead of mauling you it'll replace your blood with acid and stuff. Not to mention the spiders. I'll stick to my happy island nation with small insects, thanks! No kidding, if anyone dares look up - 'white tail spider bite.' Those live in Australia and apparently cause necrosis. Seriously some grotesque shit.
