So, I know, I know. I've used the search option a bunch before decided to post, so please don't flame me too hard . Do you know those kinds of people that think something looks cool, and they are so stubborn they just don't care about time/effort/money, they just want it...? Well I'm one of those people. And that thing, is a Korean PC Bang chair that so many people have linked pictures and asked questions about.
Has anyone found any answers as to wear to locate or purchase one of these? With the internet today and resellers and such, I find it hard to believe there is anything you can't buy on the internet lol. This is what I've been linked to before by someone on SC Reddit, but I can't seem to figure out how to get anyone to return contact to me no matter what I try.

So, internet, TeamLiquid, friends, fellow obsessive give it to me now types, I'm curious as to if anyone has found a way to get one yet?
If not, its cool. I still love you.

wow those chairs look great. i'm in need of a good chair with head support so i can lean back and rest my head while looking at the monitor. i'm stuck with a pillow support for now -,.-

Those are pretty sweet. I wish they had more monitor setup options thought. I'd probably end up going with the one really big monitor over the three smaller ones.

yea well I wanted one of these
![[image loading]](http://www.psp-themes.net/data/media/12/lambo_10.jpg)
but I could only afford one of these

We just gotta keep on dreaming and working towards what we want one step at a time.
On a more on subject note, the OP's chairs look so comfy >.<
![[image loading]](http://www.talentstudios.ca/HALF/COMPUTER%20CHAIR.jpg) nothing fancy, but damn comfy

So why is it called a bang chair?
|
They use them a lot in PC Bangs in Korea, a lot of the pro gaming houses in Korea have them too.
|
Yea, I saw these similar chairs in the progamer house tours. I would really like to get one, too. Maybe Huk or Jinro could help us out, lol.

lol when i first read bang chair i wsalike ... a chair u bang in?

My school has those chairs in some classrooms so I've spent a 2 semesters sitting in them. I've got to say its quite good for your back to have a chair like that. Really comfortable. Even with a big cushy black leather chair you back and neck can still feel pretty stiff. I don't know how those chairs do it, but there's like some sort of innate motivational factor of those chairs that makes you want to stretch and relax your back while sitting in it lol.
|
Wow, I've never paid attention to my chairs before but this thread is suddenly making me feel very conscious about the chair I am currently sitting at, not to mention my neck seemingly feeling rather burdensome quite suddenly.
I hate placebo effect.

If you're interested (or anyone else for that matter), inquire through the links I posted and post the results.

I have done so on the alibaba website but it just allows you to message them which I did a while back and again now so hopefully I get a response this time.
Was just wondering if anyone on the TL website knew a rough price or so

I don't think so. I've been searching through past chair threads and they are all quickly devolve into either "go to office depot and buy a $75 chair" or "buy this $900 chair that has no head support" flamewars. Meh.

if someone finds a place to order these chairs, please update the OP!

i have this too, was dirt cheap at staples

Was at IKEA and checked out alot of chairs, strangely enough the most expensive were the stiffest and least comfortable.
|
Please note:
It is spelled as "Baang." Not "Bang." It's a Korean work, so USA spell checks don't register it as a word.

Well to be fair, you are talking about IKEA.

I know this thread is super old, but im wondering if anyone found out what these cost? or a better question i guess is what people would actually pay to have one of these?
|
Ninetales, I don't think it's possible to get one in the US. I can see them on eBay's Korean site, and on the Alibaba site I linked at the beginning, but still no go. I've been trying on and off to find one for the last few months, but nothing yet. I really want to find an American importer that can get some. I guess I'll just have to take a trip over there and ship some back to sell for myself. I bet I could sell 50-100 of them real quick here .

I've wanted one of those for a while. I love bucket seats in cars so it would be perfect for me. If I can find a job I'm definitely getting one if I can find someone who will ship to Canada. My 13 year old chair is getting a little worn (One arm is held on with rubber bands, the cloth is worn through on the seat, the pivot is broken, the height adjustment is kinda wrecked now too, the non-snapped off arm has a huge crack in the rubber. It was an $800 ergonomic chair I got for free when my mom's old workplace closed but even it can only take so much.)
