The engines, that are much smaller then you would believe (Because the largest component of a 757 engine is... The fan, and the aluminum skin.)?

Or are you aiming at the 20 ft wide hole that wasn't actually 20 ft? The only person who concluded it was 20 ft cited a photograph, 80% of which is covered by smoke, steam, and water. With the visible part being a 20ft hole. Never mind that significant damage was inflicted to both the left and the right of the hole in question... Resulting in the collapse of 60 feet of wall, and more then 90 feet of extensive damage.

Easily refutable lies? So is the 9/11 conspiracy theory, the Holocaust deniers, and loads of other crappy conspiracy theories that are made up solely for attention. But for some reason the two theories about Obama are not up for discussion? That makes me lawl so hard. Bias. God... man, I love not having any political affiliations. <3

lol

No one's denying the Holocaust here, and most of the stupid theories are getting shot down. As for Kenyan Obama vs 9/11, I would hope you can tell the difference between an outright lie with no evidence and a well-formed (but 99.9% bs :p) conspiracy theory.

The history of Jesus is better documented than for any other person up to and far past that point in history. Don't take my word for it. Read up on it yourself.

Political figures in the Roman Empire are the first people that come to mind.

Also, the history of Jesus documented by most historians and New Testament scholars is far different than the history you learned in Sunday School. Sure, a guy named Jesus seems to have been crucified by a guy named Pilatus... but to make the logical jump from those few facts that do correlate with Christian tradition to the conclusion that all or even a significant fraction of Christian traditions are therefore likely to be true is a complete non-sequitur and also involves the ignorance (willful or otherwise) of a significant pool of accumulated knowledge.

Edit: What's the deal with the 9/11 conspiracy stuff? Seriously? In 2011?

It has been proved that those engines were not from a Boeing 757, I cant remember by who but i will find it and let you know. The most import thing to me about what happened that day isn't the "evidence" that was found. But rather the lack of evidence that physics says should have been there. Something did hit the pentagon, but it wasn't a Boeing 757 like we were told.

THE HOLOCAUST!

Oh... only absolute morons deny such things. You can't hide the deaths of 11 million innocent people. =/

Despite the atrocities of the holocaust, Hitler was a brilliant leader. He can be credited with huge a economic boom during his time, as well as military success. My question is why is he painted as the posterboy for evil when Stalin and Mao both killed thousands more people under their rule? I am in no way trying to undermine the horrors of the holocaust, but I don't really understand why Stalin or Mao don't get the same negative attention that Hitler does. :/

Because Mao didn't commit genocide? He was just really fking retarded as a leader. He wasn't intentionally evil like Hitler was. Comparing Mao to Hitler is pretty stupid imo, because you're using body count as your only barometer.

All the evidence I'VE seen points to a 757 engine. What exactly have you seen?
And there is no lack of evidence. The "lack of evidence" is evidence that armchair physics theorists assume should be there, not evidence that physics said should be there.

Physics says that when an object built like a plane hits a solid wall at high velocities, it basically turns the entire plane into a fluid, and it all flows into the hole in the building. Armchair physics says that there should be a lot of visible wreckage outside the building, as if it were a car crash or something.

9/11 talk

Has there already been a discussion about the lack of intervention from NORAD? Either those caveman terrorists infiltrated the US Air Defense systems, or someone dropped the ball rather hard on this one. Not trying to say thats how it was but does anyone know more about that?

Here's some important things about 9/11:

1. FDR data from the plane that hit the pentagon that was provided by the government under the FOIA contradicts the flight path that is presented in the commission report

2. Explosive residue found in the debris for all three buildings that collapsed in New York

3. All three buildings in New York falling at near free fall acceleration making a collapse of all three as they were observed extremely unlikely if not impossible

4. Mossad agents arrested in New York on 9/11 documenting the twin tower collapse

5. Mossad agents arrested in New Jersey on 9/11 driving a van that contained explosive residue

6. Building 7 reported to have collapsed 17 minutes before it collapsed

7. Skeptical debris found from the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania and from the plane that hit the Pentagon

8. Zero quality footage available of the plane hitting the Pentagon, US government did confiscate all footage that was available at the time

That hole is NOT small. The hole is wider than the firetruck near it, and a firetruck is about 25-30 feet long. Besides, the plane traveled 310 feet through the building... most of the damage was done inside the building.

The engines on a 757 are very close to the fuselage, and the majority of the wing is lightweight aluminum and titanium. Most of the wing would have just broken up immediately when it hit the building, the fuel in the wings scorched the side of the building, but the very thin aluminum is just not string enough to punch through think concrete reinforced with steel.

Since all the weight is so localized in the middle of the plane, it makes sense that it punched a deep hole through the building rather than take down a wide area of the first wall.

The Pentagon is built to withstand bombs and attacks, a plane wing is meant to withstand air. I'd be surprised and disappointed in the engineers who designed a military building that could be brought down by hollow aluminum.

Pearl Harbor is generally accepted as a random act of violence against the US against the Japanese without any warning or provocation, when in reality, the US had been poking and prodding at the Japanese to leave China for years, and threatened them on several occasions with an oil embargo.

You should look up war crimes committed by the Allies (or even the United States in general throughout history). Some of what the Americans have done in history easily rivals that of the holocaust, or purges of Ukraine.

Because you disagree with it so it's not interesting and people should be able to make empty claims with no discussion to follow? This thread is about history, there isn't going to much there that hasn't been done to death, being that it's history.

Yes of course, you are right. Even if you don't look between the lines, just looking at the face value of what the US already admits to, fire bombing Tokyo, using atomic weapons, attacking civilian infrastructure, as well as various sanctions used to starve out opposing nations.

That's not including the use of napalm (not only during WWII but also during the Korean and Vietnam wars). And of course we're not even touching on other historical war crimes such as the virtual extermination of the Native Americans, and the robbery of nearly 50% of Mexico's land...

Maybe you've missed out on all the crap Japan was doing to deserve things like an oil embargo. You know, little things like being in an undeclared war with our ally China?
