Phonaks are wonderful, which I throw on my laptop. I use the Yuins on my portable audio player (Cowon D2) and they perform pretty solid too imo.

I want to invest in some good circumaural headphones but I don't really see the need for them just yet. I'll probably stick with my current headphones for a while. I'm also much more of an earphone guy I think.

I think we should expand this to an audiophile thread in general maybe (feat. speakers/home theater systems/etc.); saves us a couple of threads and it's fairly related content x)

For earbuds I think that PK1s are pretty top tier. Only thing is I haven't listened to a lot of other earbuds other than stock headphones, and it sure beats the hell out of those
The sound production doesn't match price to price with IEMs though. But very decent treble/mids, bass is okay and maybe a little bit "unnatural" sounding imo. I'm not TRU AUDIOPHILE though so take it hear with a grain of salt (check head-fi for more opinions I guess)
I hear from head-fi that these can sound much more phenomenal with a good amp, which I lack.

Can't say it isolates well... I mean earbuds aren't really meant to xd

Also the cable is pretty damn long on this thing, gotta wrap it a few times around my player when I'm walking. The earbuds can come unattached fairly easily though so it's difficult to run with them and have them stay in your ears

Overpriced headphones if you ask me (well, aren't all headphones heheh), but I still like them

I'm currently powering them using my Apogee Duet, its got a very nice headphone amp in it, as well as functions as my two channel I/O. I <3 my system.
