If you're like me and you have a bunch of soda cans (or any carbonated beverage cans) in your room you can sometimes put one down and forget after a couple minutes which is the one you were drinking out of.
If it is somewhat fresh out of the refrigerator or something, then obviously you just feel for the chilled can, but otherwise, if you hold it up to your ear and listen then you'll hear the carbonation bubbling inside and you know that the one you're holding is the one you were drinking.
Or just lift it up and feel which one is heavier.
Or shake it.
I always slightly crush empty soda cans enough to dent them on 2 'sides' so I can tell which ones are empty by touch and/or sight.

No, it's much better to brush your teeth after eating.
Bacteria don't "use" sugars to erode enamel. Bacteria consume carbohydrates, especially sugar, and the waste products (i.e. excretions) of the bacteria are acidic. If the pH level in the mouth falls below 5.5, carbonated hydroxyapatite, the main component of tooth enamel, begins to dissolve in a process known as demineralisation. Eating acidic foods such as orange juice or some wines can also contribute to this problem.
The main reason to brush is to remove as much of the food as possible, so the bacteria have little to feed on and don't produce much acid. You can never remove all the bacteria by brushing, and whatever bacteria remain will very quickly multiply to use whatever food is available. So by far the best approach is to remove the food: that is, brush as soon as possible after eating.
As a side benefit, toothpaste is alkaline and quickly raises the pH level in the mouth, allowing re-mineralisation of any micro-cavities to begin as soon as possible.
Get your friends into 3 or 4 animes you really like, then stop watching. They'll keep you up to date, recommend you other anime you like, and you can go back to washing and eating properly.
Opening links in a new tab by pushing the middle mouse button (scroll) is the best tip I can give, it has saved me millions of hours whilst randomly browsing the internets.
This next one isnt really much for a trick but I feel it still deserves to be here. Using two monitors to help you learn new BO's, play on one screen and having the BO open on another.
wow...That (Ctrl) + (1-X) is really handy. Too bad I didn't discover it earlier.
btw, Windows Speech Recognition is also nice... I'm gonna try it on now. I think it would work well if you're operating on two computers/laptops. The WSR is enabled on one of them so that you are gaming on the other one.
yeast dough doesn't have to take over half an hour. You can have 3/4 of a yeast pack added to 250 ml hand worm milk and add 450g flour, 80 g butter, make a nice dough. Then put it into a pot of cold water (fully covered). After about 10 minutes, it rises. Dry it a little with tissues and add 50 g flour, 1/4 of the yeast, salt and if you want it sweet: sugar ( about 80 g), lemon, raisins, vanilla, or whatever. Bon Appetit (I am not going to translate this into cups XD)!
If you have a pot or pan with crap stuck to the bottom, put water in the pot and put it on the stove on high heat for a while. If that doesn't work add a splash of alcohol. Then try vinegar. You've pretty much covered all of your bases for solubility, so you can be pretty sure that whatever was down there will dissolve.
HAHAHAHAHAHAH.
That's the best stealth pun I've seen in a long time.
