The world record of 150 was typing at 150 w/o mistakes. I can type at around 150 but only have about 50% accuracy.

when i was 15, i recorded @ 120 with no errors
i been pratiscing, using typing programs for years, since i was like 7-8
that 13yo who types fast, is possible.

yes i agree with you, but that's not the point. you said you doubt certain peoples typings speeds were 120+, but since they only took the typing test that measures speed for a few minutes rather than an hour, i just mentioned that these speeds are not impossible given the length of the test. the fact that they could not maintain this speed for a long period of time is irrelevant, as nobody is taking the test for 50 minutes. since nobody in this thread has or will take a 50 minute test, their speeds being 120+ within the context of this thread is not impossible.

47 wpm 1st time, 50 wpm the second. 88% accuracy... hard to scribe when youre still prone to looking at the keyboard. :\
EDIT: Btw, i think many of you are full of shit. My mom is a full time secretary and its amazing to watch her type. She averaged 75-85 over 3 times. I simply cannot conceed that you guys are 100+ with less typing practice than someone who does it for a living.

rofl kid i went to a nearby college to take a typing test for my school, I got 103 wpm the next closest person was an asian from my school he got 72
There was 8 schools there, Think what you want but im on a computer everyday

100 - 150 flawless WPM since I was like 14, too bad it's a useless skill because most jobs consider me just as qualified as any person with 35+ WPM!
