i average 120wpm @ 100%, in any situations, xcept the damned numbers >.< stopped praticing for couple of years, still can type as quick as in professional manner

tfeign, that link says that her topspeed was 212, she maintained 150 for 50 minutes. i doubt anyone took the test for 50 minutes, so their high speeds here are certainly possible. (though i don't doubt some people are exaggerating their scores).

personally i'm around 90-105.

i dont even know what i type now because i dont type often nor fast but i know when i was learning how to type i was pretty much always 120 or over in all of the tests (highschool and middle school i took it twice)

lol @ the 150++'s, what about taking a reasonable typing test and see what your results are? =)

Somehow I thought myself to type with only 8 fingers instead of ten, I don't use my left pinky and my right I only use for ' and ENTER :[

Just took that test from typingtest.com, got ~90, 2nd try because in the first one I kept missing the comma's

Took another text for 2nd try btw.

When typing your usual MSN bullshit chit chat I probably get in the 120's, but not with teh real shite interpunction texts :O

On Hucklberry Finn I got 61, but that's because of the retard English that was used, I think. I'm going to try something without all those stupid things.

EDIT: Nope, it wasn't because of the way it was written. I just suck at typing, I guess. 61 on the first test text as well. It's because I have to think about some words before I type them; I really have to look at how they are spelled.

When I was 13, I typed at 110 wpm on average. My school actually offered me and one other kid some temporary jobs because of it. I'm sure I type faster than that now.

As for all of you saying you got 230 wpm and stuff...you're looking at the wrong numbers, those are probably your characters per minute.

Liar, that'd be child labor. You could type that fast, I don't doubt that; I just doubt your school offered two 13 year olds jobs, because it'd be illegal. At least in my state it would be.
