So I decided to ask the community that knows rice! Just my own personal curiosity, but what do you guys eat on or with your rice (just regular sticky white rice)?

I haven't done it in a while, but I used to eat just rice and soy sauce and other Asian style sauces (szechuan, teriyaki, etc). Mixing together rice and refried beans with some hot sauce is pretty delicious too! As far as what I cook and throw together with rice: burritos, enchiladas, stir fry, curry. As far as restaurant food goes: Mexican food, Chinese food, sushi. Rice is great stuff ![]()

if you want some random stuff with rice....try 1. eat rice with a slice of american cheese melting on it 2. some people like eating with soy sauce o_o (i personally dont, its too salty imo) 3. something my mom loved to eat when she was younger, you crack an egg, add soy sauce, and sesame oil and mix it (and that tastes good with kimchi) 4. another similar concept with 3 (some thing korean people did long time ago when there wasnt much to eat except rice) is... sesame oil, soy sauce, and sesame seed. crumbling up dry seaweeds makes it better ![]() 5. I ate this the other day at a shopping mall food court serving asian food. It was white rice with diced onions and pineapple. It had a nice sweet and clean fresh taste to it, which i liked. I'm gonna try making it, hopefully its good, maybe better :D 6. Something I just thought of right now is... taking red pepper paste, tuna, and mayo (just like the spicy tuna roll) and mix that with white rice. now, just take dried seaweed and eat it ill add more when i think of/remember some more ways to eat rice

Though, some favorites to add; Egg, Spam, Peas, Corn, Curry, Pieces of fried chicken, beef, tofu, shrimp, beansprouts, 'chasiew'(? Chinese roast pork). I could go on, but I'll ease up on everyone's stomach for now. On another note, I've always found it weird that people would eat Lo Mein with Rice. I guess that's just a preference..

Mix into the rice: kochujang (Korean red pepper paste), a bit of sesame oil, a few sesame seeds if you have them, and soy sauce to make it mix easily. Sounds ghetto but it's surprisingly tasty; Koreans have been doing it forever.

I love it with this vietnamese dish called canh ca chua (which is sour fish soup). Other shit i eat it with is basically fried pork, duck, beef, etc. veggies go great with it tooo =D. BTW, I dont know if any of you guys got this but this is the best way to eat rice when you got like NOTHING meat, poultry, veggies, etc etc.... ....use this chile sauce (I dont know the name of it in english but its called SATE in vietnamese). anywho after that you take some FISH SAUCE. arite now you got your chile sauce (sate) and fish sauce...add rice into the mix and twirl it all up. It becomes this heavenly food mix of spice and flavor if you do it right. oh and here is where you can make sate. Sorry I dont know my moms recipe http://vietworldkitchen.typepad.com/blog/2007/07/lemongrass-chil.html and yada yada
