Audio technica ad700's which I keep on my head basically 24/7 That's what i like about the logitech z5450, when you activate the night mode, it changes the sound dynamic a bit so you won't notice that big of difference yourself but people in other rooms notice it.

![]() And I love them. I would recommend getting a 2.0 over any 5.1 if you don't plan on using the surround (listening to music 95% of the time -> 2.0 owns a 5.1 at the same price).

These... pretty good, I got mine for $68 (free shipping) so it was definitely worth it. I've seen them on woot! for as low as ~$50 now. They have a bit of trouble with extreme highs so the tweeters aren't the highest quality I assume, but still very good set of speakers.

![]() I've had these for about 7 years and they have extremely nice sound, a bass setting, and are very solid. I bought them for 50$ at Best Buy. I tried to buy my mom new speakers a month ago and tried two different kinds for 50$. They were both very poor quality. Apparently speaker quality has diminished in the past years ![]() They have new versions of it out, and I highly recommend these. Seriously they are great ^^ Edit: A guy above me posted the newer version of them. He's right in that they are extremely good price:quality ratio.

Any other listening/viewing is perfectly fine with zero audible distortions. I think it may be EMI from some other activity in your computer, most likely your network interface (especially on wireless, if that's the case). Try watching a video or listening to music already on your computer while downloading a large file, using a well-seeded torrent, or some other high-bandwidth activity and see if you have the same problem.
