Sad. Though he had a lot of controversy in his life he was still funny and it is always sad when someone passes.
Gary Coleman is dead. He was taken off life support on Friday morning and passed away, Radaronline.com reports. His wife Shannon Price and her father were at the hospital.
Coleman, 42, was best known for his role as Arnold Jackson on "Diff'rent Strokes." Word got out that he was hospitalized Thursday and in critical condition.
RIP man. I'll admit I made my fair share of Gary jokes over the years. Sad that after a great start he had to go through the torturous experience of being seen taking dead-end jobs like security guard.

Joke isn't that funny, but mostly imma comment about catch 22's crap about show some respect.
Why the fuck do i want to show respect to the dead? So others will show me respect when I die or when someone i knows die, no no no fuck that i want respect in life which gary did not get, so no no no too little too late, respect people when they are alive; shit on their graves when they are dead. I know i wouldn't care what people say about me in death, i'm fucking dead how is talking smack about me going to change that.
It's sad when someone you know dies or someone you admire dies, it's sad when some child star got shafted in life dies and people call it a news day. But doesn't mean i have to show them respect.

I was witness early this week to a young girl opening a 3rd story window and falling down, dying (hopefully) on impact. Gary's story carries a similar tragedy with it. He will be remembered, not by me (I never knew him beyond that one Knight Rider pic), but by others. May we think he rests in peace.

my thoughts exactly. somehow i don't think gary coleman is reading teamliquid in heaven... he was never good with a keyboard with those tiny little hands. If he is reading teamliquid, im so sorry, but think you have bigger things to worry about...
Man, was going to see what the hell happened to gary coleman and all I see is this puns. (which somehow put a smile on my face at the same time guilt in my heart)
I remember watching Different Strokes when I was really young and that was the Cool show on TV. That's how old I am. I remember my mom making us chicken nuggets and fries and I'd watch this almost every night sitting on the floor. Thanks Gary.

We can't really say much on this unless you are a conspirator or something eh... It is her decision and there are some people who would rather pull the the plug instead of letting their loved one just be there in a vegetable state. Perhaps they have talked about it before hand... But this isn't the case we should be talking about
RIP Gary Coleman. Although you haven't had any significance in my use of quotes, I'm sure you've had a positive push on our world than it does now.
A buddy of mine knew him from when he was on set for one of gary's commercials. Said he was the kinda guy who never had his head in the clouds, and that he was pretty down to earth.
