My in game ID Volwrath comes from my favorite magic card of all time. Volrath the fallen, being that I was 8 when i first got Bnet 1.0 I spelled it wrong and have kept it that way ever since because ive grown to like it.

I was playing SWG when I was twelve or thirteen, and it was randomly generated. A year or so later, someone pointed out to me that it spelled "i love" backwards. I had never noticed.

I thought that was pretty spectacular, so I've kept it ever since.

I used to have a name with X in it, but it confused people on how to pronounce it (it could be pronounced in two ways).

I realized that my name, despite it looking pretty good, never really put people in a comfortable position and thus their interest and recollection of me diminished overtime.

So I changed it up and went for something silly, witty and overall just plain awesome. I love food and I'm a huge pasta-lover. So I went with Tortellini. However Torte de Lini is equally amusing and a new way to spell the word. In most case, people respell words to make them shorter, I tried for longer or at least seemingly.

Being an Italian American with a love for history, I wanted something Rome and military related. It was between Caesar, Augustus, and Legionarie.
I have a friend who is DarthCaesar, so that was out the question.
When I learned of JulyZerg and the likes, I was afraid people would think I was just copying them.
This, Legionaire was left. And why have just one Legionaire, when I can be an entire Legion! And TA is my team.

I thought they screamed "Houdini", because they really liked magic tricks or something and they wanted Luke to entertain them with his jedi mind tricks. Learn something new every day!

The history behind my ID is pretty lame, lol. When Ultima Online: Age of Shadows came out I wanted to make a new paladin character, but couldn't think of a good name. I wanted to name to suit a paladin, but I was drawing a complete blank.

After a while I gave up and just went to thesaurus.com and typed in "paladin". The word martyr came up and I thought it was sweet because it had a "y" in it. I figured I should add another word since just Martyr isn't that great a name. Paladins are typically religious and holy, so I typed "holy" into the thesaurus and got the word "pious". Put the two together and you get Pious Martyr!

My one rule for online ID's and Fantasy sports team names.....must include some sort of alliteration. Thus the 2 S's. Then I just thought of words that sounded funny. "squiggles" was the first word I came up with. I don't know why, but that word just makes me laugh. To add the alliteration, I added Sergeant because it sounded like someone you would take serious, as opposed to someone namd "squiggles".

Abbreviate Sergeant, shorten squiggles to squiglz, and there's my ID. something so ridiculous that its (in my opinion) pretty funny.

My name's GotNoGame in sc because everyone called me noob back then T_T so I chose the name for the lols.

The TL ID on the other hand was a name i used a long time ago because i played a lot of Maplestory and the name appealed to many people. :D

Started off way back in the day of when WoW came out, I was tired of my wc3 i.D (Demon[of]Ice lol fail clan tags) and I wanted something fresh I couldn't think of a name so i face palmed my keyboard and then it happened. Phtes was born.

Originally we had no idea how it sounded so in vent etc people would be like yo p.h.t.e.s but it soon evolved into being called feets, fetus, feetes so I stuck to it and now my 1 simple cool looking jumble of letters ahs become my only online I.D which apparently has many pronunciations.

It's always always fun to hear people try to say it for the first time =D

When I was 12yo I used Jolt as my ID, since Jolteon was my favorite pokemon. After that, my first WoW character was named "Zaloth", since Zealot was already taken

after my first search at the armory, I came to realize that this name was a random generated name.

Nowadays, I'm more serious and mature (lol) and pxds is my last name, "Praxedes", without vowels.
