Mellotron is a several decades old primitive sampler that used prerecorded tape loops of orchestral instruments, one for each note of the keyboard. When you would push the key, it would play the tape loop for that note. Also, rhythms were recorded by full bands etc.

I just happened to create an account on TL. I couldn't get my usual name so I thought it would be fitting to simply use my Sc2 name n code.

Sythe is derived from Scythe. I love the way the word sounds phonetically and writing Scythe in cursive simply looks good to me. The c was omitted from my now ex-girlfriend when I suggested Scythe as a name for a child. Sythe, despite how "gay it sounded" to her, at least wasn't a weapon.

well, there are a couple reasons for my name. first is because of the movie Tears Of The Sun. that was my favorite movie for a long time. the other reason is because i LOVED the names in BW that NaDa used like SkyInTheSea and the other one i forget who used it was EndlessHorizon. i always wanted a really cool name like that and TearsOfTheSun was it for me! i made it directly after i watched the movie again too. i usually go by the name Dixer_ca but this seemed appropriate at the time! =D

As for my current ID Mikro, I took it off the word 'Micro' and I thought the letter 'k' was awesome. My other IDs has either been accidentally typed in as my real name (damn battle.net 2.0) or has been copied from some other random forum >.>

Name i made up during the time I played Diablo 2, a necromancer. I thought the name was purely random but some years later I played the game Baldur's Gate for the second time and came across this character again i used to have in my party: eldoth. He was a great characeter so probably that name got hooked in my brain and created seodoth

I really like the name and have been using it for a lot of games

Back when i played maplestory I had no name so i had to use horrible random names. When i was making a new character i had the idea to name him MyNaameIsB0b for some strange reason...
He eventually became my main character and when i was talking to people the called me Bob so i explained to them my name was actually Matt, they then started calling me BobbingMatt and i used that till about two months ago (I then ditched the capital letters because i hate capital letters :D). I have always wanted a short name that didn't have my actual name in it but could never figure out how to shorten bobbingmatt, untill two months ago when i realized i could just get rid of the matt!

Edit: I'm using the ign "vsn" on several MMOs and in FPS games though, that name originated from vision, but there were too many of them at the time so I just removed the vowels.

My own stylized version of Tenshi, for the longest time it was a word I made up as a kid, Glisianator, But often times it was too long for stuff, so then after learning Korean I started to learn Japanese, and being the lame nerd that I am I looked up angel and broken and guardian stuff like that, so my wow chars were kakeratenshi and shugotenshi. So for shorter purposes dropped the adjective and Tenshi just didnt stick out for me... So throw a k on there and DONE. My SC2 gamer tag is Tenshik, obviously the Kakera came from the same thing.

Got mine from when i was thinking of a cool name for my Wc3 account. My friend was over at my place at that time, and we wanted something that rhymed with Max (that's my name if your not following), and then he came up with Max to the Hax, and i just changed it to Hax to the Max instead. Been sticking with it ever since.

I had a friend who bleached his hair black but got alittle greenish, so we called him a gypsy :p Later at a cybercafe we were playing WC3 and made gypsy related names, mine beeing NukeTheGypsy, kept playing on it and joined a clan where the name didn't fit so I shortened it to nuke[tagg]

Well...
Years ago, probably around 2003-2005, when I actually got involved in the community and whatnot, I was still very young and naive, at the age of about 12. I was always under the impression that one should never reveal his or her true identity (name, real age, etc) to strangers. So, with this, I found a fake name to use, a fake job, a fake age, etc. Then, once I started making "good" friends online within the community, people are like "picture?" (not as creepy as it sounds). So, I was like "Oh, man... I'm 12 years old, I'm not giving someone my real picture." So, I ended up giving this absolutely fake picture of someone I found on Google, etc. Some pretty stupid stuff on my part. I just felt the need to share this in some detail (minimal detail, have you).

Around this time, the fake name I had for myself was Steve Lemma. (as you can see, Lemma, which was my fake last name, backwards, is ammeL, hence my ID).

Lemma (fake last name) = ammeL (in reverse!)
