I used to play Dark Eldar in 40k, and I thought "Haemonculus" was such a cool name for a unit that I adopted it as my TL name.

Rhavanna and Shiver are both taken from the Myth series of games, which I am totally freaking obsessed with. Shiver is the only female villain in the game, and Rhavanna was her name before she became evil. Thus, I took both and use them somewhat interchangeably depending on my mood, lol.

Back when me and some bros used to play CS:S I was the best of our group, of course all of us were completely awful and got wrecked when we scrimmed. So yeah it was a running joke that I was God's Gift To CS:S

I was like 12 and my cousing showed me Wolfenstein ET, and when I had to put my name, I wanted something that sounded, weird, and that nobody had ever thought about. So by some weird reason I came up with the name Straught, so after I stopped playing WolfET I played runescape, and WoW and lots of other stuff where I kept calling myself "straught."

A Serbian girl I spent a lot of time with in my first year university spelled my name Airyk (my name is Eric if you can't sound it out correctly). And I have always been a huge fan of techno/house/trance so most of my sign names have had the prefix "dj".
And so DjAiryk was created

Woke up in the middle of the night with this nickname in my head.. wrote it down, and here i am. True story and i actually never wake up due nighttime/when i'm asleep altho' this one occasion did gave me my sweet nickname. It was ment to be.

Archduke for a couple reasons:

1. My initials are AA, so if you put my ID like a title in front of my name you get Archduke A___ A_______ which has a nice ring to it and ALLITERATION.

2. I play honorably, like a nobleman would. I always want to win a straight-up fight when both armies are at their strongest. I always have perfect manners (in game and IRL) and I never ever cheese.

I got my ID from the name of a The Sound of Animals Fighting song. I had always thought that it sounded really cool and they were one of my favorite bands back in the day.

I played TF2 for a while, and I moved from California to Argentina and I played on a server called Phlorph almost exclusively if it wasn't Phlorph I wouldn't play it. I used my brothers I.D Charles Manson because I didn't care about what I was called, then I remembered something funny from my youth and changed my name to rusty colon for about a month then I settled on Laggy because well, I played with 250+ ping all the time. I really like the simplicity of the name, and the irony at times. The best is when playing games where people get really bitchy about lag like DotA and they yell Laggy stop Lagging you derogatory term and then they show up on the lag screen and quit immediately, happened a few times.

I was also in the beta using Laggy.Cell cell being the identifier because my dad died of cancer and cell is a cool word so Cancerous cell, just like Lag is the cancer of video games.

Zekie - My dogs name is Zeke but we usually call him Zekie (pronounced Zee-key)

Snapper - a year or two ago when I just got into a new clan and wanted a new name for it I asked my wife who was sleeping on the couch behind me what I should pick. She was in the middle of a deep sleep and when I asked her she said "Snapper" in the most annoyed/groggy way. It was so funny I couldn't say no.

My ID for quite a while was liquidglow. When I signed up for the site, I didn't want individuals to think I was attempting to impersonate a TL/liquid member, (glow was taken) so i truncated to Lglow

Hmmm, my name comes from a somewhat overactive imagination :p

I was in about grade 10 or so, and for some reason, my teacher decided to give us all a picture of a bear standing on its hind legs and told us to colour it however we wanted.

Thinking it was something of a waste of time, I decided to colour him green, and then gave him a top hat, curly mustache and goatee, monocle, cane, and lantern. I came up with the back story that he is a detective from the 1800's, and then dubbed him... Mr. Wiggles the Detective Bear.

I thought he was such an awesome character I decided to take the name that popped into my head as my own nickname for gaming, and I've been Mr. Wiggles ever since.

My first nick was Zicmu which i stole from a french movie.

Then more people started using it so i changed to Zootre..
I wanted a Z as first letter.. Then i saw something about a Zoo in tv and i decided on that but thought it was too short. so i chose my favorite number 3 which is spelled Tre in Denmark ^^ So thats why im Zootre

I guess it´s emperor in korean. They used to call BoxeR by this name.
I saw no one using it for a long time so I took it.
Also BoxeR is one of the greatest men of our time I "kinda" look up to him.

I read the LOTR trilogy years ago and there was this elf named Eladan that was skipped when they made the script for the movie. I used to be like LOTR fan number 1, have seen each of the movies like 20 times or so. no exageration

So one day i decided to buy WoW because i had played WC3 and thought it was the coolest game that i owned at the time (Yes i confess i started playing SC1 way later) so i wasnt really sure what my account name and character name should be.

So i guess i added a "C" and stuck with that name even when i started to play WC3 online after i got tired of WoW since i found it too be very repetive.(yes the first game i ever played online was WoW)
and trough WC3 i got familiar with SC: BW and SC2 and here I am

I had to think of something for a pokemon game when I was 12 or so. Couldn't think of anything, just hit my keyboard and it came up with 'liv', which I quickly finished with 'eon'. So that's how my nickname got born ^^.
