HOLY shit dudes, i was surfing and i found this, altough the original article is from cracked (http://www.cracked.com/article_18381_the-5-creepiest-unexplained-broadcasts.html) this one is more extense:

That thing really scared the shit out of me, that thing about UVB-76 and the backward radio station are all really weird, when i heard the sound it was spine chilling, the there is the thing about not being a recording but a mic........or the male voice that looks liek its been tortured saying russians names 3 times in 18 years........maaaaan.......im not into conspiracy or anything but that stuff is weird. I cant remember if you can download the recordings from the site but if you cant you let me know i have like 5 from BRS, UV-76, slowdown... i can submitt them but it will destroy your speakers........

I didnt find it creepy at all. It is just some random noises being broadcast. Like the OP said, probably military encrypted transmissions. =)

The only one I thought was even remotely creepy was the "Swedish Rhapsody" number station. That jingle just feels like its out of some horror flick - but as far as where/why it's being transmitted, it's not very creepy.

Cracked has very interesting stuff there...............BTW, ive been asking cuban ppl about the Atencion number station and noone knows, the goverment controls the media so well here............
