Well... If there is no reason to guard something, then it's stupid to guard it.
That someone put a bag on it is hardly a reason to start protecting helipads .

It's actually strange that Sweden isn't better equipped in handling these kinds of robberies considering the recent history of bank robberies and especially against money transports. Then again, this might've been to extraordinary for any protocols to be followed.

So, if I've got my facts straight - this gang of uber-thieves hovered an empty shuttle just outside the choke of the Police Force's main; setting up a soft-contain and gaining total map control, after which, they auto-mined a nearby Police-ally expansion and subsequently recalled away.
Very impressive!

so no one else finds it odd that some average joe can access a police helipad as and when he likes?

The only things they can be credited for is designing a well thought-out plan that also didn't include planned human murder as a requirement, and then executing it smoothly. But I'm pretty sure that most deaths occuring during robberies aren't planned. Why would they ? Killing people can easily go wrong. Regardless of any ethics it's just smarter to avoid it if you can.
If a cop just happened to be there during the robbery and got in their way, would he be dead by now? Maybe these robbers were determined to kill anyone in their path rather than getting caught. It just happened that they didn't have to, thanks to the qualities I already credited them for, and also thanks to luck because in life sometimes shit just happens. If it went otherwise and they killed a guy the reactions in this thread would be very different for sure.
Just ask yourself, between killing someone, and spending the next X years in jail, is the choice really that obvious? Past a certain point most people will just grab a gun and kill. This point just depends on how bad life in jail is, how much you value your freedom, how much you value human life, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if for some people X is actually pretty low.
The BOMB bag is pretty hilarious though.

Question is if a helicopter can even carry that much money in cash. Especially since they had to get the robbers out aswell.

wtf?
He wasn't kicked off, he left on his own in protest of the poor goverment handling of the police force in sweden. Also he is very smart. Read some of his books and get over your shallow picture of him which you probably got from watching him in Efterlyst (tv show). So many swedes has the wrong impression of him only because of his apperances in that show His "retarded" style of talking and provocing sticks out and attracts viewers - he knows it and the producers knows it. You can't judge him based on that media whore show!

You see no reason in guarding a police helicopter?

I base my picture of him and opinion about him mainly on the interviews I've seen with him and some articles and I must say I'm not at all impressed. And I have read one of his books, he can't write for shit IMO.
As for the thing with the police force I guess he left technically but they really didn't want him there so I don't think he had a choice in staying. In the words of former Rikspolischef (sort of national chief of police): "Recommending GW Persson for the professorship is the biggest professional mistake I've made".
And: "It's immoral to recieve a pay that high and not do anything"

I see possible reasons. many. But for me it's like giving guns to police officers which also seems logical but is not everywhere the case because as it seems, it's not needed everywhere.

Very impressive! lol good summary.
Nicely thought out plan by these guys, amazing the wonders a simple bag marked 'bomb' can work.

Helipad isn't guarded but usually accesss to it is limited to police personnel only. Looks like those guys were real pros. Maybe they even had a person inside police who placed that bag and helped them with info. Only way to catch em is to track money that they stole.

I wonder how much the helicopter and the whole heist cost, might be kinda fail if they got 6 mil but payed like 4 mil to set it up

But before that some guy sodomises a young girl, confesses to it and still has been avoiding justice for over 30 years by simply moving away from the country and you guys were like 'burn the asshole in a stake'

yes, that makes it ok.
I'm all with you on depopulation, but who defines who is a criminal? I would wipe completely different ppl from this world than you, im pretty sure. (The Hutus in Rwanda f.e. declared the Tutsis as criminals and wiped them off of their country, would be relly cool if we could have something like this again, huh?)
