And that somehow makes it ok? Geez the UN sure as hell should introduce a depopulation program where all the jerks who high five criminals 'recalls' away. yes, that makes it ok. I'm all with you on depopulation, but who defines who is a criminal? I would wipe completely different ppl from this world than you, im pretty sure. (The Hutus in Rwanda f.e. declared the Tutsis as criminals and wiped them off of their country, would be relly cool if we could have something like this again, huh?)
Great job on calling me an idiot, and then saying, besides that because the insurance company pays for the stolen money, there was no crime (what the fuck?), that there are worse kinds of criminals so we shouldnt be worrying about this (what the fuck too)

So robberies are ok as long as you look cool and no one directly gets hurt? The fuck?

No. Robbing is cool as long as the robbers give the money to the poor. Hmm...

Some of the same shit happened here in Norway a while back (no helicopter involved though), but then a cop with a wife and two kids was murdered. Guess it wasn't as cool then. I've always wished to be a moronic cunt

@Cloud,
It is true that an insurance pays the money back to the bank... so the ones "losing money" are the insurance, not the bank and not the customers...
And I say "losing money" because money in this era comes mostly from thin air, and stealing air is impossible.
They fuck us up anyways with their unfair interest rates and their loans, thats why I do not feel sorry for that robbery.
I do not agree with stealing in general but I do applaud their plan and performance... it was flawless and they thought almost about everything... lets hope they dont come up purchasing 10 yates and 5 huge houses and getting caught on that.
I hope to see someday, people working as hard as they did but for something productive and not as selfish as robbing a bank.
@ ArC_man
ask that to the banks... they steal more money than you will even imagine...
btw I was working in a bank so I have a *little* idea of what i am talking about.
- banks all over the world make millions of dollars a day on us... part of that money is not as clean as you might want to think.

I'm sorry StealthBlue but you are retarded for saying "props" to the thieves for getting away with stealing alot of money. Do you think it's cool or something?

The way they stole the money was absolutely awesome.

Yes, it's cool. That's why they make movies like Ocean's Eleven. Because it's cool. Deal with it.
|
So in other news; they got caught, or at least 6 people suspected of involvment were arrested a couple of days ago whether or not they are actually guilty remains to be seen. Most (I think all) of the people arrested have a long history of violent crime behind them. Things like severe assault, extortion, violently forcing people to stay silent during trials etc. So this romantic (movie inspired no doubt) notion of a few gentlemen performing the perfect heist without ever hurting anyone is a very flawed one.
Also sources within the military claim that they saw the stolen helicopter take off and on extremely low altitude approach the target. He also claimed that they upon hearing about the robbery on the police radio redirected two jet fighters that were in standby position over the baltic sea to the site but they couldn't intervene since no formal request came from the police. On the other hand some police guy claims that the police did ask for and also recieved some sort of help so I don't really know what to believe there.

Sounds like you are too far away from reality. Sure everything is fun and awesome on the internet, but this is more than a cool news report that you found.
I can see why you think it's "awesome" but it's basically acknowledging that you either think it was an okay thing to do, or that you are very immature. Which one is it?

Guys you are disinformed. There are now 3 people remand in custody in Sweden now and Swedish police are in Serbia since the Serbian police department informed Swedish authorities about a upcoming robbery against a big cash depot one week before the actual rob.
The robbers are most likely Serbian Mafia located in Stockholm, Sweden. But also Swedes were part of the robbers. One of the men in custody is the pilot and the pilot was really skilled according to military experts since he landed on top off the roof and the heli blades were really close to trees and buildings etc etc.
Indeed the robbery was very well planned and the robbers definitely had military training. And since there were approx $148 million dollars in the cashdepot it must been several insiders incorporated too.
Since G4S (the company) wont tell how much money the robbers got away with, there are only speculations for now and they say the robbers got about $10 million.
The heli they used a Bell 206 Jet Ranger has it limit how much weight it can take. With fuel and 4 people in the heli the robbers couldn't take as much money they wanted. A funny note is that there were several policepatrols just minutes after the alarm but they couldn't intervene since the robbers had heavy machineguns and only the Swedish task force synonymous with e.g SWAT were allowed to combat the robbers and they took longer to arrive. So the ordinary force could just watch when the chopper flew away. And as mentioned the Swedish police had no chopper since it was bugged with a dummy bomb... so they couldn't persue.
Actual video from eyewitness. There are many more...
This is just a short summary and the info might change with new updates from media and other sources. There are news everyday about this robbery so no one really knows the whole picture...
Edit: Some other facts I forgot: According to the policeauthorities it were at least 10 people involved in this extensive coup. The building had a very complex maze to make it difficult for robbers and thieves to find their way. But the robbers had access to the constructions drawings because they found the vault in no time according to the emploees. The reason it was so much money in G4S depot this day was because it was the day before monthly salary for the Swedes and that depot supplied the whole Swedish capital Stockholm with cash. So the robbers also planned and probably knew it would be a HUGE amount of cash there that particular day.
