If you're having trouble with spinners try spinning close to the center instead of in big circles all over the place and just focus on passing it (even if with a 50 or 100 instead of 300) instead of mass spinning and going for maximum bonus. When you get a spinning motion that's comfortable for you then you can work on improving your spinner speed. Keeping your combo > getting a few thousand extra points on a spinner and losing control of your mouse and combo breaking immediately after. | ||

Turned off, played 20 min and completed 6 different songs I had struggled for few days or weeks. Never is too late to turn mouse accele off. I also thought HC jumpmaps were impossible with mouse accele but who is this guy who manages to do them with accele on? I just discovered something amazing. Well I was kind of speaking in generalizations there, typically if you're extremely used to something then any kind of change is going to mess you up (i.e. new mouse, new keyboard, switching from mouse to mouse + kb or tablet, etc). If you have success in all types of maps with mouse acceleration on then turning it off probably isn't going to affect you that much but if you are really good at most maps but can't play jump maps then obviously turning mouse acceleration off would be a good thing. All I'm trying to say is if you have a good thing going and that involves using mouse acceleration then why change that? And the player is Gabi, iirc he still uses mouse acceleration. | ||

I play with mouse acceleration as It would literally take 4 months to re-learn this game if I switched. I tried for about a week in December and it was absolutely terrible; I couldn't even do 3 stars. So like MegamaneExe said, it can get so ingrained in you that changing would be very difficult. And honestly, re-learning this game for 4 months rather than improving would drive me insane and would remove and incentive to play this game. | ||

I'd love to see what maps TL liked. I have a few maps that I really like from the past year, and i'm sure if enough votes are taken into consideration we can come up with a TL top10 or top15 best maps of 2011 :D | ||

You can get triplets, quints, up to7 or 9 note spams and be ok, but when you have 120 notes in a row you're not being very fun, you're just tiring out peoples fingers. And it doesn't help that for faster songs I can't physically hit my keys fast enough to keep up with the spams. xD But I do agree with number 1 anyway, gold dust was very well done.  | ||
