It seems like I have a better reaction time with a tablet, but I'm still not completely comfortable with it so I suck at quick jumps. It's like starting over again! Except I get to rage more when screwing up because I want to full clear everything yet still suck with tablet. | ||

This is what I do, now that I have a tablet: ((I also got one for christmas)) keep the plastic tip cover for your pen- set your tablet to mouse mode- turn off precision mode in osu and any kind of mouse acceleration you have- hold your pen in a natural writing position and only use the top middle of your tablet as your surface for osu! ((this means jack the hell out of your in-game sensitivity)) Little known fact about the Bamboo pen tablets: the plastic tip cover thing is just the right distance from the pen tip to the tablet for it to track the tip, but you won't get the annoying input glitch from touching the pen to the tablet (touching the pen to the tablet will cause you have to hit z/x an extra time for it to take z/x as an input in osu!) Hope this helps! Or you can enable "disable mouse buttons in play mode"? I have no input glitch. Also "enable mouse mode" kind of defeats the purpose of a tablet in the first place. | ||

I was looking at some of the non-uploaded stuff I've mapped on and off for the past 2 years and out of around 30 or so maps I started I only have 4 that are anywhere near finished, the rest all range from like 1% to 75% complete. Need to find motivation to finish some of these... Or time. ...Or both. | ||

It is the fastest way to improve (trust me, 7+ years of experience on that). I've never suggested "pounding away" at those songs though. My suggestion is simply to find a song or 2 that's JUST above your skill level (Maybe 1 pattern that always kills you, or something), and throw it in once in a while. You'll notice over time that playing the harder song more often will help you improve quicker, and the harder songs are a good way to watch yourself improve. You can watch yourself getting a few less misses than you used to, etc. | ||

Force proportions makes the shape of your tablet area the same as your screen, so yes. | ||
