His assumption was that the fit you were talking about was a "real" fit whereas it was mostly a theoretical exercise. Next time you could try posting the actual fit as your first response (along with a short explanation of the fit's intention) instead of a bunch of pre-emptive insults to prepare for e-battle. Sard posted a completely different fit from the one that I posted, and my fit IS a real fit that I have used in far more than rhetorical exercises. I was not preemptive in any possible insults, and the fit's intention was already blindingly obvious from context. I'm sorry if not currently having access to EFT offends your delicate sensibilities.
