Number one spot is up for grabs between Phisp and thorn. I'm debating whether or not a certain comment Phisp made (that rainbow wearing wierdo said that a Victoria Secret Angel is not hot) is enough to warrant him the first place over thorntons relentless campaign over the past couple of months. After a couple of minutes of cooldown I can see that Thorn's continius dedication says a lot and even thou I'm personally offended by Phisps comment I need to put my feelings aside and be objective about this. Kwark's opinion would make things a lot easier. Also Caelum was pretty outraged about being on top of thorn.

For the past few weeks we've been meaning to dec an alliance based in emol called necrophiliacs. They were one of the guys Caelum put on our list when we tried to simultaneously dec 17 different groups in Emol local. We haven't done it until now because of the cost (150m as a 3rd dec) and because we've been tied up with marsoc. Well today I redecced marsoc + their indy corp and their indy corp joined necrophiliacs. That means the war spreads to them, for free. Good fucking times people. I want to see you guys mobilised for this. Dex, get them trained up, we gonna smash some guys.

Hey guys I'm a college kid who is interested in getting into this game. I have around 1-3 hour bouts of free time per day on more on the weekends. Is this enough to be successful in this game?

Kezzer I'm a student, I play about an hour a day (slightly more on weekends). If you're a quick learner and take your own initiative, it's enough.

The main issue with Eve as a noob is the waiting, not so much the time sink. Despite what anyone tells you (and believe me they'll tell you), It'll be a few months before you're useful for very much or able to make yourself much money (unless you have rl heeb skills that transfer well to space jewry and convince Kwark to put up capital for you).

Eve is a really fucking complicated game. Use the time before you can fly anything worth flying to get very comfortable with the interface, fool around with missions and read as much as you possibly can about the game and the often convoluted shit going on in it. That way, when you've got an idea as to what you like to do in Eve, you'll know how to go about getting into that.

Regardless of what you do, you have to get used to the idea of only being able to do a very narrow scope of things with each character. Skillsets for different pursuits are simply too divergent for you to be able to have a character that can do very many things optimally. My main is a year and a bit old and is still only marginally decent in his field (subcap, turret pvp piloting).

Ask questions in SCBW and ignore anything Kizu says. Good luck.

I resubbed. Is it possible to apply for a mentor in the corp? Unfortunately I can't offer the free month since I already had an account before-hand. I have about 2million isk on my main so I don't think I'll need to much money. I just want someone who will have the patience to answer my questions
