Haha, I've played this since 2005. Such a fun game, but really requires a large time investment. Used to love roaming around back when I had spare hours to lead roams, now I basically just keep my account on for skill training.

After that it's dreadnought skills all the way. My Naglfar is getting rusty in its hangar!

Was mid update when vov told me he had a WT phoon entering rens (in a very concise way for the record). We immediately got a gang up, Soz scouted us on the way to rens and we camped the gate. So they were sitting in Emol talking shit in local while we sat on the gate waiting for this.

A guy who we killed in a drake earlier was spamming local saying we're not going to kill any of them in this war, others were saying we always run and never fight etc. Someone in local asked who was winning and they were all "WE'RE WINNING EASY LOL". Was an amazing exercise in doublethink. They're now down around nine hundred million isk on day one and we lost around sixty million and somewhere some of them have to know it. We are raping the shit out of them. 95 members against 230 and all they can do is sit at 0 and talk smack while the loot stacks up.

yeah but we fly our ships, so were not really ''fighting'' in that war, thus them being 60M - 0M in real pvp (aka station gamez)

Well the arti pest was sniper fit and warped in at range. I didnt realize it was a sniper fit until about a second and a half before it killed me and wasnt able to react in time after giving intel on it. I feel this was a reasonabley acceptable loss and it did allow us to prevent any excessive frigate deaths later on. Also the typhoon kill totally makes up for it putting me comfortably in the green once again for todays isk killed/lost ratio so far.

So they came to frarn to try and bait us into doing shit. Sat a loki on the station while we had a domi there. Obviously it's a trap. We knew they had a massive fleet on the way from emol and we knew the loki was a part of that fleet but we thought maybe we could try something and then take a leaf out of their book and deaggress. The domi undocks and attacks it, I decloak and web + point it and it's going down. Local spikes and I give the deaggress order and pull my drones and get myself out. Ownagecake stops firing but leaves his nos on and promptly loses his domi. He will not be getting reimbursed, if he can't afford another domi I'm gonna count that as a win for the corp. That's given me a pretty sinking feeling after starting so well. We don't generally fly bs and now a failfit bs in a rusty pilot has been lost. Tbh I should have known better than to let him fly it because he's not been on any ops and I've not seen him in action. It was my fault as FC for allowing him to use a domi.

Domi was seriously failfit and failflown too. I really dropped the ball here. This isn't the kind of shit we fly and I should have interrogated him further. The problem was it was ownagecake who is an old tl corp veteran who recently joined us and I made the assumption that he wasn't awful. A good domi (like one using battleship class blasters, maybe even t2, instead of 4 t1 medium blasters) that would have killed the loki in seconds and been able to deaggress with ease. Awful, awful pilot and I need to make absolutely 0 assumptions regarding how good pilots are.

Edit: Basically we turned a 400m kill given to us on a platter into a 140m loss. The guy told me he had a domi and like a fool I took that at face value and didn't suspect it had just 4 t1 medium blasters.

We weren't baiting, they were. We were undocking, going for a gank then a quick redock. The plan failed when the domi was so failfit it couldn't gank anything (a good domi at 0 on a loki which is dual webbed and scrammed will kill it in under 30 secs) and didn't understand that deaggressing meant to stop aggressing.

Don't blame yourself, Kwark, I was the one who undocked with a shit fit and didn't deaggress like I'm fucking retarded. Anyways, I'm taking a break for a few days to let the shame die down a bit.

I've done some pretty bad pvp shit playing this game but that's the worst by far, sorry

Oh and I don't fly that kind of shitfit anymore, that was a relic from when I had no SP at all, I am truly sorry I wasn't thinking.
