But really, the ability to fly an oracle is actually making me a worse pilot, as the entire sum of responsibilities are: LOLDRUGSLOLKEEPRANGELOLF1LOLRELOADTOMULTIANDF1AGAINLOL. There are some subtleties, such as matching/estimating directions to reduce angular velocity, actually targeting shit (still working on this), and trusting the one or two guys that actually have points to point the thing you will be shooting at because fuck, that guy is going to want to leave real quick, everything else is easy as shit in the Oracle. But there’s no pointing/spreading point practice, there’s no watching target direction and velocity the way a pointing ship has to, and I’d completely forget that drones ever existed if I didn’t do Incursions on the side. I never get any solo pvp in, it’s either gang work, or I’m bearing, or I say screw it and go play another game. I’d try and get a fight with that cloaky dictor guy, but every ship I have he’d either stay cloaked because he might lose, or I’d just lose straight away. I flew the point myrm for a bit a while back, I MWD out of point range every 30 seconds, drones? What drones? I felt so retarded. So please, train for Oracles, not because Kwark likes them, but because we need to rotate people out of them. PS. Not like the Curse or Zealot is any better, but I would say they are more intensive in those decisions (shit happens faster in the Curse and Zealot, and more independence but that independence is “I should really do this or people are going to die”).
