Actually as much as the vets HATE mining, with the removal of drone goo, nerf to incursions, hulkageddon, and jita will burn, it probably isn't a bad idea. Mining income should rise and the income is basically passive. We'll have to get some mining foreman links in a loki and a hulk/orca fleet going. Many Hatchery movie nights to come lol. Isn't there an ice belt in our old home? | ||

Mining ops (especially in low or null) are also usually decent bait for people that pop in system, spaz out about hulks and orcas, and then get nuked when they land on grid and people swap mining ships for combat ships and/or a recon force decloaks. Also, how is the ice market? I think I've got some 400+ blocks of Glacial Mass sitting in Heimatar... wait, that would require me to log in and do more than change skills. T_T dammit. Oh, and I'm too lazy to quote, but yes GHSC and EveBank aren't relevant any longer. But the kind of cluster and general scamming involved in Eve pretty quickly creates a great deal of paranoia. I've known people in Eve for years, fought alongside them, and still am leery of ever being alone near them in a system. (In one case, after the guy helped me take down someone else. In my defense, he is in PL.) Besides, I think it's the corp over alliance - my history with corps is okay, the alliances have been meh. (CoW, Init) | ||
