Despite this, you state that I have not actually offered a proposal. I interpret this to mean that you and Oldma are not taking this situation seriously. Your counter-proposal - suggesting that we return your assets BEFORE you retreat from Insmother - is not sensible, because your assets are the best way to ensure compliance in the Insmother retreat. Plus, you make a demand for more space.

Very well. Internet spaceship games are full of people making idle threats. I understand that you think that we in the GIA can do nothing more to IRC besides seizing your assets. Once I make good on my threat, perhaps you'll reevaluate the situation and we can have a more realistic discussion. Until then, I remain a fuzzy, harmless mitten.

As for trust, IRC has always acted honorably and lived up to its agreements. When GS sold 2 constellations to us for 30BH on time, we paid fully. When GS sold the rest of Etherium Reach to us for 60B, we paid fully. When GS asked if GS could maintain JB in Etherium Reach, we agreed and honored that agreement. There is no reason that GS would need to “ensure compliance in the Insmother retreat.”

Unfortunately, there have been numerous posts about GS scamming “buyers” out of Outposts and systems. Also, GS took credit for the BoB theft. Now, you are, apparently, claiming that you have something to do with the theft of AWE assets. Under these circumstances, it is not IRC’s credibility that is at issue.

However, IRC would be willing to make a simultaneous transfer. You deliver everything at the same time we post the withdrawal order.

Simply threatening us will not further these negotiations.

Here's how this is going to work. Get out of Insmother immediately. Announce your withdrawal publicly on caod. You don't have to say WHY you're retreating, just that the Insmother excursion is over and that IRC is withdrawing unconditionally. This whole embarrassing episode can be swept under the rug if you so choose. You'll save the most face if you just say that RA defeated you and that you're pulling away from that. You lost a bunch of towers in C-J6, so you can claim an 'honorable loss' and no one has to know that you stuck your alliance into the middle of the Great War and got your nose cut off.

This will allow RA to go back to helping xDeath invade Tenerifis and fight -A-, who is busy ****ing with us in Querious. Your poorly timed invasion pulled RA away from Tenerifis vs -A-, which is the second front in our war against KenZoku. This is why we are having this conversation.

If you comply with our demands, in a few weeks when things quiet down in Querious you can have your stuff back, and blue standings all the way around may be restored. In the meantime, you stuck your **** in a hornet's nest and you got stung. I will arrange things such that either we're all hunky-dory and you get your **** and standings back if you play nice, and if you do not play nice I will see to it that ED and IRC are scourged from the map.

ED's holdings in Vale of the Silent are forfeit. The NC sub-alliances will probably siege that outpost out of sheer boredom.

I look forward to the announcement of your retreat from Insmother.

Kenzoku has lost the war. Period. Remember the "race" I was talking about, where the GBC had to retake Delve before the Goons got Sov 4 up and running? Without a strong dread fleet, Kenzoku simply cannot win that race.

Information on what happened is confused (partially because what happened shouldn't have), but...

Pandemic Legion launched a triple-Doomsday attack on a mixed AAA/KenZoku fleet at a Red.Overlords Tower in 49-U6U. The three Titans, Papa Pod, Azriel Dregg, and Gaia Jane all landed and perfectly executed within one minute of each other. They then warped away and activated jump drives to a cyno-generator in G-TT5V (a Delve NPC system). All three made their jump and exited the system. When Gaia Jane's pilot saw that he had loaded into G-TT5V, he logged off.

However, the system apparently never removed Gaia Jane from 49-U6U. The Titan was scan-located and attacked by the remains of the AAA fleet while the pilot was fixing a bagel. The Titan's active defenses were not on, no one was at the helm, no one in Pandemic Legion even knew the ghost-Titan was being attacked until they saw the local chatter. No one was able to give assistance and the pilot wasn't notified out-of-game until the ship was almost destroyed.

KenZoku are almost tripping over themselves to give all credit to AAA pilots (strain behinds the scenes?)

Pandemic Legion say they've been expecting to lose a Titan for weeks with the blunt-trauma manner they use them in; but they still will petition the lost ship since it died to a bug. They don't expect to have it returned to them as the only group to ever have a Titan returned from destruction by GM fiat is BoB, but they'll try just for form's sake.

GoonSwarm says that, following KenZoku's example of how to react in this situation, they will now go on a month's hiatus of activity - giving AAA/KenZoku free, unresisted run of the combat zone...
