In clanwars/tournaments it's -cm from DotA. Since there is no such mode in HoN, people just agree which heroes they ban and pick in the lobby and then proceed with AP mode and pick selected heroes.

If you want to get any good in HoN you should NEVER EVER play EM games. If you only played them, then you can just disregard all of your games.
EM is just picking 5 carriers (preferably better carriers than enemies) and owning up. It has nothing to do with how the actual games are being played (hero, item and strategy wise).

I have some spare time on my hands so I can write up a newbie guide for HoN as a blog, will update you on that.

a question, does engineer get banned in most tournaments/clan wars? in the games i play, engi always own the game and is practically untouchable.. he put up his fence and turret and noone can touch him.. yack..
