I like AM pick vs a necrolyte centered lineup if it only has 2~3 reliable stuns. Not a regular league hero but definitely one of the underused heroes that shine if the opponents' picks allow it. | ||

I never see him in replays and there's probably a reason for that, but I think he has potential with the right line-up. In gank-centric lineups Tinker/Kotl/darkseer seem to fill his role (anti-pusher/farmer) better than he does. Tinker is the only hero I can think of that's more mobile than Pit, but both tinker and kotl are better in early game lanes and have better burst damage than Pit. Tinker/Kotl/darkseer are all better at pushing than Pit since Expulsion loses it's power in forward positions (fewer corspes to explode). Pit's biggest advantage over heroes that compete for his role is that his ult can teleport his entire team from one side of the map to another, something I've yet to coordinate in a pub or ih (I imagine coordination is easier in cws, though). My favorite thing about Pit is that as long as he's alive, it's very difficult for the opposing team to push at all. This makes him a target in teamfights even when he's not doing a whole lot of damage to heroes, so he fills the role of semi-tank just by being in the game... of course, investing in items that strengthen that role (shiva, cuirass, heart) is important as a result of this. He can't afford to sacrifice himself too often, though. | ||
