Preventing backdoor can easily be coded, which it hasn't. You could even code that shit using StarEdit if this were SC. If ally creeps are between enemy hero and the hero's own buildings when he attempts to backdoor, make your last building invincible. Blizzard has constantly tried to patch the glitches, and has failed nearly every time, which makes for a shitty analogy. IceFrog has not been patching or even attempting to despite how easy it is. He only changed the item possession for pooling because noobs bitched about it so much despite being extremely easy to counter.
I also can't believe how hypocritical Testie is being here despite my being pro-backdoor. (Yes, that is proper English so don't even try to bring it up.) We had such a huge fucking discussion on this and you turn on your word when it suits you. They won the late-game, so give it to them and keep your fucking dignity.

So allied mines are fair game too right? BD is more like hold lurker. The whole point of ack's post is that the scrims follow the standard league rules, otherwise games will degrade into 5 push heroes + mass necro3s or mass sheepstick/euls. Paper, you haven't played in the earlier versions of dota where teams can (and still can) win a game without killing a single hero, there's a reason why backdoor isn't allowed simply because it takes no skill beyond realizing the creep spawn timers are at every 30 seconds and it dictates a purely reactive response by the other team in close games.
And if you seriously think pooling is easy to stop when the other team knows how to pool, then you are just being ignorant.
And Icefrog has made BD-ing harder, namely Furion and the old Ignatius Fatus changes.
Yeah, completely outplaying the other team and losing to a BD is sad. They have every right to complain. It's illegal in cws and leagues and whatnot.
Camping your ramps for 20 minutes with Tinker "I'll just stand here and recharge because I was cool and now I'm nearly useless" and ES "I got refresher just from the 1g/sec increments" is faggotry. The goal is to push and win. You could very well handle meepo when the other four people were largely underpowered.

We are comparing a UMS map coded with triggers with a game coded from scratch. The analogy Ack made is valid.
edit: flames out.
To use a JeeJee/paper proof analogy. Compare BD to race changing in the last second. Or compare it to going ZZ vs in 2v2.
Those are not glitches. Blizzard never fixed them and they never will. But they are banned for professional leagues.
whether it's a new game or a trigger-made ums is irrelevant. why did you even bring this up? (i know why but i hope i am wrong)
sure they're illegal in professional leagues. i missed the part where this was a professional league game. wait it wasn't. OOPS ZZ in 2:2 star is perfectly fine in a game with friends which is what this is. if you want it otherwise, AGREE ON IT PRE-GAME. durrrrrrr
lol ok.
Do you even play sc? People on iccup (at least back when I played) would not play you if you went ZZ. This is because you see their team before game starts. You cannot "ungame" once someones backdoors you.
paper how long have you been playing BW?
Blizzard has not attempted to fix any bugs related to the game like obs over turret or shit like that. The only bugs blizzard fixed are floating ones (temp merge float, drone float, etc) and bugs that spawn as mineral hacks.
Observer over turret has never been fixed. Allies mines obviously has not been fixed. Burrow stack is still there. SCV Stack with gas is still there. All these never were tried to be fixed. Want me to keep going?

Justifying testies actions "because bd was not agreed pre-game" or "because it was not a professional game" is silly, when we know how testie stands on BDing. Playing TL vs TL BAD Banned, TL vs 1TL + 4 dudes suddenly BD becomes super justified.
If you are going to answer this post, please take at least 3 seconds and avoid e-lingo.
edit: Was this a game with friends? Because ZvZ (BD) is allowed in a game with friends? (TL-Dota) I though it was the other way around. And no one will play you ZZ on iccup which is like BD on Scrims?
edit2: is okay to compare BD with glitch in the sense that both are things that weren't not addressed when the game was made, but later off were banned in rules due to whatever reason, unfairness, slowing the game down, or making games less fun.
SC comes out, bugs are discovered and as they aren't patched, rules are made in the community to keep the bugs out of competitive play. Same can happen with Backdoor, or a imbalanced character in a fighting game, or an imbalanced team in a soccer game, or an unstoppable move in a game (old school soccer games had shots that could not be blocked at all for example).
