On the other hand I'll say some key things since seeing people argue about this is so retarded. Its giving me a headache. Nothing is gained from name-calling and pointing fingers. Everyone posting here saying that icefrog should implement a fix for no BD is a retard. Clear and simple. Yes I just name called. Here's why: 1. There's game exploits in every game, and meta-game players agree on things that are cheap or give an unfair advantage. Just look at starcraft, dozens of glitches that are banned. If drone floating was never patched are you to say blizzard never fixed it so it must be fine? 2. There are very, very clearly understood backdoor rules by players of leagues. Just like sc where progamer code of rules apply even if the leagues didn't implement the rules, people who scrim [ aka to get better or play competitively ] don't break these rules. Maybe one day icefrog will do that, and what will the people who are opposed to it say then? They'll just look like morons. Look how long it took to stop pooling...do you think stopping BD isn't on his to-do list? Oh idk maybe Icefrog thinks he doesn't have to spoon feed general codes upheld by competitive players into his map. [In theory] he has other things to fix like balance and heroes. As for the replay I watched it and as testie said it was a dumb game. Testie's team didn't deserve to win and Zulu's team didn't deserve to lose. The only thing to take from that is to not play with Testie because now you know ahead of time how he will react in that circumstance. You should be glad from the experience. You should also know by now that his team will probably defend him blindly. Kinda disappointed in how you reacted zulu. Its not like the way sentinel played [ nevermind who the players were ] would ever last through more than 1 game in a league/tournament setting. They would not be allowed to play. Just take the high road. Live2Win is also wrong. | ||

"...people who scrim [ aka to get better or play competitively ] don't break these rules..." we dont have a "team" to call THE TL Dota team, we dont participate in tournaments, leagues, competitively, etc the thread is called "[DotA] Let's Play~!!" suggesting casual games | ||

Live2Win you were wrong to say testie is wrong because of some hypocritical thing he said. He was wrong for breaking BD, not because he's a hypocrite. You may be right in pointing he's a hypocrite but that doesn't effect judgement on whether zulu or testie were right. Testie learned and plays dota mainly in an environment where BD'ing in scrims/cws is fair if the other team is ' turtling '. I simply said for people like zulu and myself, who learned to play [ and enjoy ] this game in a competitive atmosphere you can just learn not to play with people who will break said rules.
