If you feel your team co-ordinates better in a teamfight, then loses to OP bullshit, you get mad.
Whereas in a 1v1 if you pick a weaker character you know precisely what you are getting into.
I'm not saying the whining psychology is necessarily right, but it's definitely more complex when you're playing as a team.

S2 should stop releasing heroes for like 2 weeks and just focus on balancing all the ridiculous stuff that they've put out. Monarch+S2 hero is just an autowin against most matchups. Gemini stats build is broken. Two wolves running around with 1900hp when everyone else has 900 is silly.

because you didn't know about this "op bullshit" going into the dota match? Please. I fail to see the difference between not picking a top tier character in a 1v1 and not picking a top tier character (or combo of characters) in a 5v5. Especially so in dota, where you can outright ban heroes you don't want to play against, while in eg smash, you just have to deal with that bullshit marshmallow.

probably just me but sense sub accounts share silver gained and gold etc anyone else think of buying 4 sub accounts then playing 5 man mmr intentally throwing games, assuming a 10 min que, with 16 mins worth of game and 4 mins of loading etc that's 30 mins so you can do it twice an hour.
So that leaves the 4silver you make from a loss plus to 2 social bonus if you just friend you self a bunch, then the consecutive, which i think goes up to 4, which makes it ideaily 10 silver a game per account so 50 silver every game twice per an hour so 100 silver an hour.
I would only take a small modification on the quick mmr mod and a creation of a 15 min cc and auto vote mod to make a bot that would just auto que up and cc at 15.
So running at 100 silver an hour or 2400 silver a day, 16800 silver a week it would only take about a month to buy out the store. Ofc this woudl cost 70 bucks worth of sub accounts and you would need to set aside a week or so to bring back all 5 accounts 1 by 1 to like 1500 mmr where you can find games and crap. Hon itself isn't hard to run multiple instances, infact all you need to do is click on hon.exe 5 times to run 5 instances of hon all you would need is a strong enough cpu a gpu with enough vram and about 8 gigs of ram to do it.
Also anyone else notice that the pudding annoucer pack is now gone from the store?

You can't be logged into more than 1 of those accounts so your masterplan falls to pieces :p
Getting a bit tired of $2 lately though, their new pricing system basically says you get 2 skins/year, and if you buy you pay $10 or more for ONE skin. Idk but I think this is absolutely fucking ridiculous, I mean even if you do pay you get almost nothing for your money.
|
their system has always been like that, it's the main reason I don't play anymore (incidentally thinking about coming back ) and I'm a pathetic no-lifer with moar than enough money to burn on the fauxhappiness and loldom that are microtransactions.
|
I havent played all over christmas and I'm already getting the HoN withdrawel shakes, I've even started handing over small grains of rice to stuffed animals ive painted to look like S2 heroes and then giggle myself to sleep in the foetal position muttering "You just completed a microtransaction...."
Don't know how u stayed away for so long ziggy ^^

You can, my friend shares his account, with a buddy of his and they play together all the time, his buddy's account is a sub account to his, the only problem is everytime they join a game one of them gets dropped and they have to re log :D

When everyone realises that they need to have the latest taunt or early access hero, hon gold will become the new international currency

Is there any way to find old HoN Legacy accounts that people dont want anymore? Playing FTP is getting boring and HoN doesnt let you buy the same features anymore

However, unless there's been an MMR reset, you'd be playing against 1900 people (or whatever the equivalent is now). You could buy another sub account on it, I guess.

Surely the MMRs are roughlyback to what they used to be by now?
