I can see playing tremble like that if you just go straight for it, tremble can farm very effectively by lvl 6 you can do ancients although you'd probably still be laning, i move move for a roaming tower diving lane pushing tremble, the timer on invis wards worries me i mean if they have heavy invis you're choosing between counter warding and having them for pushes? Actually whats the time on invis wards now... i have a feeling it's low enough not to matter much.
Wards - Revelation Wards: Starts off 0 of 6 in the shop with a 90 second cooldown - Wards of Sight: Starts off 2 of 4 with a cooldown of 2 mins 30 seconds
6 at 90 seconds eh that's porbably small enough, ward of sight i don't have too much thought about sense i've never seen more then 2 being bought at start, i just assume the cooldown is the same as it's always been.
The new swiftblade avatar looks cool from the side but when you're playing all you see are his arms and his hat covering everything, and it makes him look like a walking mushroom
It makes me think of the fungi monsters from Baldur's Gate 2. I can't find a pic but here's a youtube of it in Icewind Dale:
I think that's more like 1700, but when soloing and having horrible team mates it can feel like it's much harder then it is. XD nothing but leavers apparently play on my side i feel so unlucky.
Could someone please tell me what am I doing wrong? T_T
That is what I say in literally 80% my games. It's not that I blame it entirely on my teamates; like I think that I played perfectly. Far from that most of the time. It's just that many times, I feel like if testie had magically replaced me, I would still lose some of them, simply due to that fact that no matter how I scream and yell, people still pick 3 melee jungle heroes and a melee hard carry, and then tell me to mid as a support, all the while calling me an idiot for questioning their picks, telling me I'm yellow for a reason(most retarded argument EVER at the 1500 MMR level). I fully recognize that I am not 1900 MMR for a reason, and I know I do stupid crap all the time. It's just that I feel that anyone below the "good" level cannot consistently win low level games unless you take mid with a "don't give a crap hero" like tremble and just rape everyone. And not everyone can do that, especially if you've been trying to play support most of the time.
And to kind of rephrase this so I don't get flamed by people saying they can own 1500 MMR level with carry DS. It's just like I feel I have little to no impact on the game at my level. Winning or losing is almost entirely dependent on lineups and whether or not someone is smurfing. My laning/supporting ability as nymph means nothing to the game really. What matters is that the dev that went mid vs a bh got destroyed hardcore, and now a fed, stacked bh is roaming around raping everyone. That fact that me and my lane partner have raped our opponents in creep kills/denies means nothing, because a bh is coming our way with yet another rune, and he is stacked as can be, and 4 levels ahead of us. GG.
And i also see testie lose very often to 1700 players unless he picks really hard carry heroes. He went witch slayer yesterday, and got his butt handed to him. By 1700s. So don't tell me you can just pick any support and QWER your way to victory regardless of anything else, as long as you play well. I saw his lose a game to 1600s a while back as well, because the mid player held him off decently enough, and a side lane got destroyed.

Simple: you're not farming hard enough. 220 gpm as pesti is unacceptable. Go into a game and focus on just getting your gpm as high as humanly possible, ignoring teammates and their generic bullshit, and see how much better you'll do in general.

you comparing yourself to testie is one of the most delusional things i have ever seen in my life. it's like saying i play like savior because i forgot the adrenal glands upgrade once, and lost.
you however are right that if the other players on your team pick terrible heroes, and haven't the slightest idea what they should be doing, and you are playing hardcore support, in a 1700+ game (or a 1600 with smurfs). THEN yea you are probably going to lose.
400 words and all i see is excuses and comparing yourself to testie - or is blogging about your personal hon experience all your posts are? i really cannot tell anymore, and i would rather not waste any time helping someone who does not want it.
(i actually tried to answer your post seriously - i gave up after about 20 minutes and now deem said task impossible)

Pretty hard to farm with all lanes pushed, no wards and enemy team applying serious pressure.

I'm not sure what exactly you read in my post that made you think i was comparing myself to testie.......lol?? I was saying you could probably replace me(one of the worst players in all of HoN) with one of the best (pubstompers at least, testie) and he would have a hard time winning with some of the teamates and lineups you have to deal with, assuming you're not playing pure mid pubstomp mode. It's like half the games are just pure build order losses per se, assuming equal skill on both sides. Now obviously, I'm 1/10 of the problem, and I screw up things too(hammerstorm vs elec derp), but I'm sure my teamates are just as frustrated with me.

For an example of pure losing siutations..... this. Your opponents are super aggressive, your teamate nukes all creep waves as soon as they come near, and autoattacks, you are down 2-6 within 7 minutes because derp lane on the other side likes to blink into towers and die. Noone is warding, and you are supposed to be the carry in the game. Mid is afk farming, and the opposing mid is already roaming and 2 levels ahead of anyone else.

I know that. It's just a fairly common "lost game scenario" I've observed...from both sides. Down in kills, your laning partner is auto-attacking, your mid is useless, and noone is warding. GG at 10 minutes in.
If you're going to solo queue its best not to care about how the game actually goes. Be entirely selfish and just focus on your own play. Ideally take solo mid. If I manage to win mid, double tap a side lane and come out with strong farm at 10 minutes (350gpmish~), then I'm happy with how the game went. If it just so happens that after that our jungle tempest can't micro, our solo lane has fed 6 kills and our top is semi-afk/raging at eachother I don't really care. I had solid play and would normally win, that's enough for me.
Hmm, I seem to be having some laning phase issues with slither/venomancer. (less so with veno due to his long gale range at level 1). They're sorta different heroes now, and it feels like every game there's an ideal build for slither but that you can't determine it until after a long time in. (On veno i generally go 1/1/4/1 -> 1/4/4) On slither I do things like 4/2/0/0, 2/1/2/1, etc. but none of them am I settled on. For a while I thought going steamboots, hotbl, idol was the ideal build for him, I then altered it to steamboots, nomes, hotbl+ idol as ward/solo style slither needs a decent mana pool + regen (and his mana costs are high enough that nomes does add significant hp).
I know in dota the standard right now seems to be arcane boots into meka , can anyone explain the nuances of the item/skill choices for this hero? (he's one of my most played but I still feel like I don't have a full understanding of him)
Here are two hon games where I lost the lane pretty badly, looking for critique on that. (I won one game and just sort of gave up at level 5 on the other) 66272394 66269541
Watched the first 10 minutes of the first replay. In terms of laning phase there isn't much to say specifically about playing slither. Going to assume that was a pub as you didn't have much coordination between the 3 of you. Ideally FA sits in the lane, you stack and pull the pull camp to draw the lane up to your tower, you and mag go into the woods, mag stuns out from the trees onto rhapsody, follow up with all your abilities and easy kills. It sounds really basic because it is and I feel a bit awkard saying it but just when you trilane use all 3 of your people.
Ok so...how exactly do you do the rainbow/multicolored/glowing/sparkling text in game? It's been killing me my entire hon career i have no idea how to do it
