thats what i thought too, i thought it would be better when 830 joined since they could get more carries in but he ended up playing a lot of support and yyf is sticking to solo n' gank support and semicarries, and benz was a double support. they obviously made new strats to work with the team but their most effective batrider clockwerk always ended up getting banned. i've always thought zsmj to be the weakest out of burning-zhou-zsmj primarily because he isnt as versatile as burning (can play almost any type of carry) or zhou (hard carry + pugna + visage)
I dunno how this one will play out to be honest. Chinese teams are looking more and more like the NA teams of the past.

Not referring to the state of teams or losing, but rather players shifting around like crazy. A lot of the old NA players still play, just not competitively. Then again Chinese teams are much more specialized in their strategies and roles than the rest of the world, so it may be easier to insert and switch up teams.

a while ago, apparently dk got lots and lots of money or something. imo my theory is that wdc looked so good (even though people claim the management was bad) that a bunch of larger sponsors want to jump into dota now. but im not chinese so i dunno much
burning and kingj left ehome and benz left lgd a few weeks ago yaphets and kssss are friends or brothers (i dont know) so ksssss probably convinced yaphets to come.
ehome and nv.cn are in ruins since half of both teams just left. this looks like one of those all star lineups that could fail but who knows.
lgd is the only team that is relatively unscathed since imo benz wasn't that important, but i dont see chuan staying there for long anyway. i dunno what is up with deity either but they are relatively unimportant.
a lot of these chinese dota teams are sponsored by kids with rich dads in industry, and these rich kids spend money on dota teams at their discretion with no clear business plan. it's a rich kids playground kind of. this is true for dk, deity and to a lesser extent nv and lgd as well. ehome is the only "egaming club" team attached to a cybercafe business in beijing. however, not knowing anything about their business model i've no idea if they make any sort of profit from their dota branch.
anyway, i was rooting for dai to go to lgd, and he wanted to go as well because he and zsmj are bestest friends. however, apparently dai chose to stay in ehome when he got their manager to agree to never stop him from playing wow again. people can put to rest the idea that chinese dota players practice 12 hours a day. they dont.

LGD.sgty are 2 actual companies, lgd is a sauce company and has sponsored many teams before (like gigabyte) and sgty is some game company.
lgd has a rich kid sponsor in charge as well in star, who is the son of the guy who owns lgd the condiment company. given his past behavior it's a little hard to take him seriously though.
the other sponsor in sgty is the company behind a chinese LoL clone game. they don't seem to have much involvement in the personnel decisions of the team though, so not sure how much money they actually give the team.
SIgh, me and a friend were queing as 2 in TMM in hon, we won like 11/13 games in a row then were absolutely crushing some pubs as SB/glacius and our sb has 780 gpm 4 runed axes and out of nowhere buys a doombringer (without saying anything to anyone), and dies the game failcascades from there and we lose 7 games in a row after, talk about a slump. Think im going to take a break form this game for a bit.
