The reason I say he's like a melee SF is because mid-late game SF provides direct damage and uses Requiem/Blink/BKB to pick off a support instantly/quickly, the same goes for the TC except his aura scales better than anything SF has to offer. Aura scales better because SF's shit is a lot of constants and not percentage, but SF provides a lot of early and mid game leverage which TC cannot do easily because of reliance on teammates and a hell of a lot better laning, Spirit spell damage is subpar (decent cooldown), TC does not have damage output like Raze does, and it is much much harder to get off a more meaningful Earth Splitter than a Reqiuem of Souls and Razes just because of reliance on positioning despite it's awesome damage and maim. Aura does not make a difference in until at least mid game if you skill it quickly and even then if you think it has great range I just checked again and it's a pitiful 250 radius range (50 radius smaller than Axe's Berserker Call and only slightly bigger than Storm's Revenant) meaning they have to be right next to the Spirit. Additionally the farther the spirit is from TC the shittier it is for TC to do anything since he has to walk farther for damage and has less area for his Ultimate to cover. On the other hand SF doesn't have to deal with this crap and all his spells have range that doesn't compromise his abilities. The reason why survivability comes into place is because it is vital for TC to get off the Echo Slam, be able to deal some damage afterward with damage gained from Spirit and stay alive so your aura is kept. | ||
