Holy shit, this might actually take the mantle from Zelda for game of the year.... the music alone is amazing, as well as the voice acting. Benn Starr(?) who portrays Clive will easily win at the Gamer Awards this year; dead certain.
Also the amount of F bombs, and other swear words in the demo there is no valid reason why Cid should be censored in FF7 Rebirth.... none.
I also enjoyed the demo a lot and I can't wait to see how the story continues.
BUT I do hope the performance mode will be more stable, the framerate is really not what I expect from a PS5 release. Motion blur must have an option to turn it off and a fully customisable button layout would be the cherry on top.
As long as it runs smoothly, it will be a great game for sure.

Haha, yeah that's about where I'm at as well. I'm not playing either of those however. Just trying to space out how much gaming I do while I work on my own.
I've got a list that I'm definitely playing this year and might sprinkle in some under the radar gems like Remnant, Eternights, Fate/Samurai Remnant. Might try to get HFW and the expansion as well somewhere in there.
Personally I wasnt blown away by HFW, the first game was amazing and is the main reason I bought a PS5 in the first place, the second game felt a bit too much like “more of the same”. Except without the story reveals that I loved in the first one.
Obvs still a decent game, but would prioritise other new releases first
Based on the Games I've played so far this year, FF16 is GOTY for me. Just beat it a few hours ago and damn, CBU3 can always get me in the feels with a well crafted story. Now I can give gaming a break and work on other things. ~80+ hours, finished lvl 49.
In the takeover process of MS and ActiBlizz, MS basically announced a PS5 Slim for about 400 $ later this year and a PS5 Pro for early-mid 2024. Sony will probably react to this in coming days
If you think the codename has some form of familiarity, you’re right. Sony has used The Matrix codenames in the past, with the PlayStation 4 Pro under the codename ‘Neo’ and PlayStation VR under ‘Morpheus’.
It’s understood that Trinity has been in development since early 2022, with sources citing that although the rumours of a canceled PlayStation 5 Pro project are always “fun to read”, Trinity has been the only project in the works for the Pro model. Despite dates being tentative, it’s understood that demo events for the PS5 Pro are already ongoing, with the majority of studios receiving development kits by late November 2023.
Although the Pro’s specs were difficult to pin down, admittingly due to my lack of technological prowess, sources have stated that Trinity with have 30 WGP and 18000mts memory.
As for the consoles performance targets and as to be expected, the PlayStation 5 Pro will be targeting improved and consistent FPS at 4K resolution, a new ‘performance mode’ for 8K resolution, and accelerated ray tracing.
Whether or not a PlayStation 5 Pro console is desired enough in the current market remains to be seen, but as of writing, the PlayStation 5 Pro is in development and is targeting a November 2024 release date.
Trinity appears to be PlayStation’s last bits of major hardware for this generation and after reporting on almost everything from the DualSense Edge Controller (via Try Hard Guides), to Project Q and PlayStation’s new wireless earbuds (via Insider Gaming), the next time you hear on a PlayStation hardware report from me will likely be on the PlayStation 6 – Which is currently targeting a 2028 release date.
