YoshiP has done so much greatness with FF14, that if this is anything like the story they've crafted for FF14, then yeah, it's probably going to be one of the top Final Fantasy games ever.
F14 is as balanced in regards to gameplay, accessibility, and story as very few games are. If this has that same immersion and richness of story, then it's going to be amazing. I already know the music is gonna be banging.

Okay.... it's over. First PlayStation should not need to preview anymore indie games after that, that was enough. Spider Man 2 was cool. Was surprised there are now two more antagonists revealed. The Bungie reveal was a surprise.

The Final Fantasy Tactics rumor... was bull**** as well.

edit: Final rating 3 out of 10. An embarrassing miss from Sony. There were more minutes given to Indie games which they needed in order make this showcase longer than half an hour. It was real bad.

Only game that I am steering clear of if Foamstars. Everything else looked good, indie or otherwise. There is still SGF that we'll get more information from, including games that aren't PS5 exclusive. But what they showcased was a great mix and it had something for everyone.

I don't even have PSVR2 and I'm gonna buy it for the games they showcased. That's how impressed I was watching that.

Instead of a Showcase it should have been another State of Play. Remember it had been almost 2 years since the last showcase, so everyone was expecting something BIG..... we didn't get that.

What would have constituted as BIG? SM2 gameplay was big. Wolverine would have been cool but we know that's its own State of Play probably.

The Bungie game was good. A lot of games were pretty interesting imo, I don't know what more people could have wanted. Phantom Blade 0 was a nice surprise.
