Some noob tips: In team speed games on zoomtown, drift every turn until you have 2 nitro boosts and your team nitro turns your boosts blue. Then just drive normally (don't drift). Take every corner as tightly as you can manage, even if you have to lay off the gas pedal. Save your nitro boosts for the straightaway on the last lap. You will pass nearly everyone that passed you using their nitro boosts earlier in the race (this is because drifting and taking turns wide slows you down considerably on zoomtown). In rookie-level team-speed games where no one really knows what they're doings, this should allow you to finish between first place and third place. Since team speed game winners are decided by accumulated score, it's important to finish the race, even if you have to give up first place to do it (wiping out because you drifted more than you needed to is a bad thing). Team-item games... don't drift at all, it's not useful. -Don't use suicide bombs unless you believe you can take out 2 of your opponent's members with you-- it's not very useful to use the suicide bomb while an opponent is in the lead (it makes their lead bigger). If you simply HAVE to get rid of a suicide bomb, and there's no good targets for it, drive on the edge of the track, so your teammates can dodge the explosion when they see you shining bright blue. The ideal time to use it is when you're in second place behind one of your teammates (who's in the lead). Just activate the suicide bomb and back up into the crowd of opponents behind you. You'll buy your leader loads of time. -UFOs with lightning bolts through them take the UFO off of the leader. If one of your teammates is in the lead, try to hold onto these and watch the top right of your screen for when the leader gets UFO'd... you'll save him some hassle. If an opponent is in the lead, just use these immediately. -UFOs will attack anyone that's in the lead. Do not for any reason use one if your team is leading. Save it for when your opponents take the lead. -Magnets should be used on straight-aways and on the furthest person you can target for maximum benefit. If you feel like targetting someone close by, take care to avoid targetting a teammate, it'll screw you both over. -Angel immunity is very handy, but try to avoid overlapping them. Having two halos above your head doesn't make your team any more immune than they already were. -Get used to the distance the water balloons travel, you can get pretty good at "aiming" them so they'll only hit opponents. If you want to avoid water balloons, it's easiest to do so if you hug the inside of the track. -If you're in the lead, be clever with your cloud and banana peel placement. Save up shields whenever possible, and listen for when to use them. Missiles and flies make very distinct sounds and if you time your shields well, you can remain immune to a lot of stuff. Halo makes your team immune to everything but the dancing devils thing and UFOs. Shield does the same thing, but it's only personal use (halo is whole team). The dancing devil item inverts steering controls for everyone on the opposing team. So A = left, D = right becomes A = right, D = left. It's not a really big deal. For me it's only a problem when its effects turn off durring a tight turn.

I'm at 1 finger, once I have a green hand I'll let you know if anything changes... (I'm betting you get to undergo the L3 license quests, and probably get new maps and shop items to buy and play).
