Yeah finishing Top8 is huge, especially for teams just outside the truly elite, like LG. You get extra stability going into the next major, more sticker money, and avoid having to go through those occasionally dangerous bo1 qualifiers (and a better seed in groups).

I just wish the brackets worked out a bit differently, but whatever (as a fan of VP). I want to see them play teams like TSM and Navi (VP has consistently had both these teams numbers on LAN over the past 1.5 years and they match up well, just like they do with C9). Unfortunately, yet again fnatic is on the same side of the bracket. And since Katowice, NiP has done pretty well against VP even though the series are usually close. And NiP have that weird x-factor where they always step up huge in majors, even though they pretty much suck the rest of the year. Scary quarterfinal opponent.

We'll see. Everyone's been hyping TSM hard the past few months, and they drew a decent bracket, I think it's high time they reached their first final in a major. Or will it be another semifinal's choke?

DHW13 as Recursive eSports (Happy, Uzzziii, Maniac, GMX, kennyS)
Katowice '14 as Team LDLC (Happy, Uzzziii, Maniac, KQLY, apEX)
Cologne '14 as Team LDLC (same as above)
DHW14 as Team LDLC (Happy, shox, NBK, SmithZz, kioShiMa)
Katowice '15 as nV (same as above)
Cologne '15 as nV (Happy, NBK, kioShiMa, apEX, kennyS)

Xizt:

All majors with Ninjas in Pyjamas, with Maikelele instead of Fifflaren for DHW14 and allu in place of Maikelele for Katowice '15 and Cologne '15.

pronax:

All majors with Fnatic. DHW13/Katowice '14 lineup was pronax, JW, flusha, schneider, Devilwalk. Cologne '14 till Cologne '15 was with olof and KRiMZ in place of schneider/Devilwalk.

They've also all won at least one major with pronax snagging two.

TaZ, the other major winner, got knocked out of groups in DHW13 under the Universal Soldiers tag (same lineup as the current VP) by Xizt and Happy. Has made it past groups in all other majors however under Virtus.pro.
