I didn't wager their chances high on basically C9s best map It was still close, but C9 had terrible calls that had nothing to do with aim or anything. I mean I understand why C9 lost, im just wondering why Kinguin decided to play on that map in the first place, on paper to me that sounds like suicide.

Ah sorry. Yeah, dunno either. When they left it (if they did not pick, don't remember), I basically thought them out already, but, eh.

They didnt decide to play the map, they left it in the pool. The map is generated randomely.
The point is not to just remove the teams best maps if your own map pool is limited.
I think they banned out.... cobble and overpass. C9 would destroy them on both maps. Of all the maps in the pool D2 has the most room for unpolished teams to succeed regardless how good the more experienced team is.

Kinguin just banned the maps they're bad at. Not a bad way to approach things.

I'll be really pissed if LG lose to mouz/F3 after kinguim got top 8

I think Mouz will bounce back and defeat both F3 and LG

C9 had the chance to prove they really are a T1 team. And they failed in the most awful way. Makes you think if their recent succes was all pure luck and coincidence. Now they're back in 2014, at least in my opinion.

Their recent success was not pure luck and coincidence at all.
It's just, teams were able to prepare for them coming into the major, and that makes things rough for sgares.

I dont think people give Kinguin enough credit.
Making this observation because C9 lost a BO1 isnt very clever.

To be fair Kinguin played like crap CT side. It wasn't a very good game by either team. They both played crap. Kinguin just played less crap.

If you're going to claim a team sucks based off of a single Bo1, you must think all teams suck.

Kinguin made some mistakes but they not only outaim c9 but they outsmart them a lot of the round loses by Kinguin were based on not having full buys OR just making some weird mistakes like that 26-27 round where the just missplaced the smokes
it wasnt the best game, and i dont think neither team playing like that would beat a better team, but it is what it is

C9 wasn't a fluke. And they're still waaaay better than during the semphis - ShaZham period.

So you're going to claim that a Bo1 is indicative of a team's overall skill level?
Ok then.

Thing is, when things don't go their way, they don't have the mental fortitude to pull through. Ska is a very good awper but he couldn't carry them all, shroud had an average game and nothing just disappeared. Only Freak had a good game and it's probably not by chance because he appears to always have a positive mindset.

It didn't particulary help that C9 lost both pistol rounds.

Yes I did see the game.
Your being a douchebag that apparently needs to quote me twice so Im just not going to discuss it. Neither team matters enough for me to take on someone who is so horny to get into an argument they keep refreshing the page and looking for posts that disagree with them not noting they are doing it to the same person.
