Beta and release were both this year, so it was quite the wait for this one (especially since it was originally announced as a custom map for SC2 - centerpiece of the planned Blizzard Arcade feature). | ||

Maybe they imported some of the assets and FPS elements from it, but that's about it. And that's not a lot when you're going from an MMO to an arena-based shooter. | ||

And was canned too. I bet there was some stuff in Titan that made it into Overwatch, like character designs, sound, art assets. But that game was shut down years ago. | ||

Titan was supposed to be an immersive world which Overwatch being a new setting fits. Also rumors had Titan as an mmo-fps sort of like Destiny ended up being and Overwatch being a class based FPS seems a natural stripping down of the mmo elements. | ||
