Yes, DP would be next. (but I'm not sure if you can beat that game without using the touchscreen once)

They'll use a randomizer on FireRed, so it's not exactly the same,
and there should be more chaos because you can't plan ahead and there will be less "Operation: X" popping up on reddit. (hopefully)

I ended up not following this even though I thought I would. Why can't they beat the E4 even with such a high level team? They have a lvl 100 Azumarill, lvl 75 Tentacruel and lvl 65 Graveler. Azumarill should have been enough with such a huge lvl advantage. How the heck did they even get a lvl 100 Azumarill?

I'm guessing the enemy trainer AI is a lot better, but still if Azumarill manages to select rollout they win and it's other moves are still attack moves with it's worse move being rock smash.

Ok never mind, it's probably because the Pokes that are such high level aren't that great stat wise. Graveler is still terrible even with a high lvl since any water or grass move is a OKHO, Tentacruel is more of a wall than a sweeper and Azumarill has terrible stats. Zapdos and Pidgeot are great Pokes at high level and didn't follow Crystal run, but they over leveled Feraligator who is a really good Poke.

the E4 has ridiculously better movesets and shiftry in particular is really good against us, lvl 48 shiftry took out a l100 Azumarille, our ~68 tentacruel and graveler by itself once.

Yeah this E4 is no joke. Looked like this would be a good run, saved Azumarill for last two guys, but it just got paralyzed by Dragon breath. Yep gg it just fainted too. Roll out alone definitely not enough.

the champion in Red has two pokemon with leer, a pidgeot with whirlwind (seriously?), and in general the Red E4 has trash type coverage. Not so with this one. Gen 2 is slightly better but there's a lot of underpowered moves there, while with Gen 3 you will generally be dealing with the "best in class" sort of moves (thunderbolt / psychic / flamethrower / surf) coupled with stat boosts and weather effects (dragon dance / swords dance / hail / rain dance).

Lets be fair, gen 2 strat was "spam surf" with little deviations, while gen 1 was "lol zapdos op as fuck". That simply doesn't work here.

Looks like a good run. They beat Glacia while only losing Mightyena. Hariyama swept E4 members 1 and 3. They have a good up, left, and A spam so it's only the first move used 90% of the time. Only 10 hours left for this run until it's FireRed automatically.

Hariyama manages to take down 3 of Drake's Pokes, but then Flygon comes out. Flygon kills Hariyama, Vileplume and seriously chunks Azumarill because of a missed third turn roll out. 37% health Azumarill when it defeats Flygon and Salamence.
