If he right-clicks on any item in his inventory the context menu doesn't show up. Just the message "receiving". So he cant use any items. Is this a known bug or is there a solution? Restart didn't work.

How exactly do people get full combat gear and weapons? For awhile now all I've done is bumrush to military installations only to find a group with M4s killing me instantly, or an abandonded place with no loot at all, I've done this maybe 4-5 times. Do people wait for server restarts and beeline to every place with a chance of spawning military grade items to get them? How do I find out when a server is going to restart so I can do the same? Other than that which I can't figure out the game is pretty immersive. The first time I arrived at the big airfield some guys captured me and put me in cuffs and stuff. I tried to talk them into letting me go for all my food and to my surprise, they did. Stuff like that makes this game so awesome

I never do that unless i spawn near a military base, I got nothing to lose at that point anyways. Right now I think I am capped when it comes to items. I just started heading north. Once near a military base i scout it for a long while to make sure no one else is there before I go in. If people are in groups, you should very easily be able to spot them before you go. Sometimes its completely empty, sometimes people dont search properly and theres some goodies leftover, and other times you're the first there. always have your weapon up when searching. You never know if someone is behind that cover fiddeling with his backpack.

which is kinda sucky atm cause that was the only way i could safely gear up without having to venture into airfields or cities.

Yes I think balance wise the current meta game/ spawn points heavily favours server jumping and more or less the only place you need to go is military loot zones. As a result many cities are empty and the loot found in them (besides general supplies) is more or less worthless. In the mod basic pistols and rifles could be found in the cities and with proper tactics/positioning these would be enough to take on even the most geared up players. I know it will change but as it stands the combat zones are a little unusual. Also as far as I know most weapons are pretty bad over long range currently compared to the mod so that also has changed the way the game is being played currently.

Tip: If you use saline bags blood types doesn't matter and regenerate full blood while blood bags only regen 1000 of 5000. And this: http://imgur.com/a/023Kl#0

No indication of being hit- I was pretty concealed and had only been logged in for 30 seconds or so. FInd it unlikely someone had seen me in that short period?

I definitely cant wait till they add more item spawns. Cause just rotating around balota and cherno can get boring quickly. We didnt even bother going to the northern airfields cause the run would be too long.

You never know if someone is behind that cover fiddeling with his backpack. this. Stick to tree lines, spend the least amount of time possible running through an open space, always try to have at least direction covered by either a wall or a tree line that you know is clear. If i have nothing, i run around like a lunatic frantically searching spawns and running from people with guns, and yelling at them thru the game mic if necessary haha. In cities I do a lot of, find a window, look in all directions see if you see any movement/zombies chasing something or someone, before I move on. I always stick to the edges of cities, whenever Im going in High risk frequented buildings, I scope it out a lot first. Some high risk buildings are: Barracks, Grocery Store, School, Hospital. People are always rushing to these buildings for loot. At the end of the day if you have something even as simple as an axe or shovel you can kill someone with an M4 if you see them and they have no idea you are there. Ive snuck up on people in the barracks and killed them with a shovel while they were running around killing people with an M4, because I would scope out the area, see them going into the barracks and just follow in behind them without them seeing me... knock em out in 2 frantic shovel hits.... and then drink the nerd tears of getting killed by a shoveler. for me DayZ is entertaining...because as soon as you get relaxed and are not aware of everything around you...you die.
