this thread suggests its not a legit item, i might be inclined to believe them. the players i shot and looted the weapon from were running around with the UBC clantag on 382 | ||

It's not realistic to die by getting shot in the toe by a sniper either, it's not supposed to be 100% realistic. admin abuses server restarts to keep vehicles, constantly uses global chat to talk trash to players etc. not gonna waste my time recording it because i'd rather just move to a different server =] | ||

Actually it's aimed to be, according to the developer. Or as realistic as possible within the confines of a game without detracting from the experience. If you're morally fine with using an item that gives you an insane advantage and isn't in the game for anyone else (for a reason), then by all means keep it. I couldn't. | ||

Battleye doesn't ban for it, but the dayz staff does. Whenever they feel like it they run database cleanups, removing hacked weapons and banning people with hacked items. | ||
