It means US 382 will be forcibly upgraded to beta patch 95312 by the server provider.

Haha, I'm currently running around low pop server with 5000, just learning the northen parts without the fear of getting insta sniped

I'm so sad.. the server where I had my little camp set up hasn't been online in two days and I have over 15+ beans and cokes and a handgun in my backpack just waiting to be unloaded in the tent. :'(

Was noticing this too. People think it's most likely a bug, because every once in a while you'll still kill zombies in 1 shot to the chest with them.

It's definitely a bug. M1911 does 4500 damage and zombies only have 4200 blood

Ninja Edit: Looking at the Chernarus Map, it was probably more of 700-800m. That's half the distance from Cherno to Elektro.

Well I was logged off at the time and came back to the disturbance. I went to tofu with the information I had, which was you server hopped & combat logged. Then this happened the same time a user by the name of "Jake" just hacked to kill Grizzby. Via respawning up ontop of the tower with his loot again. After Grizzby was looting his "corpse". You only shot Jochan whom was not even upset that he died.

That respawn thing isn't a hack, its a glitch that can happen if you meet certain criteria that I will not divulge. It was probably accidental though

Anyone else having terrible lag spikes? I have constant 120 fps in the newest games at the moment but DayZ is always around 15-60, 60 very, VERY, rarely. mostly 30fps and when I am at cities it is 15-30. Is this issue server dependent or are there some tweaks that I should be aware of?

DayZ is very CPU oriented. All graphics, items, infected AI, etc is run off the CPU.

I've never understood why people say "I can run everything else at a bajillion FPS". Everything else is not the game you're trying to run.

Thank you for the clarification I thought arma was more gpu than cpu, appreciated. I just thought i52500k would be enough for it :&

I have a 2500k and it's runs fine, try tweaking the settings such as shadows off, post processing at lowest, textures medium. It's something to do with the way it balances the graphics, sometimes it will actually perform better if you put some things higher since It takes the load off the CPU and puts it onto the gpu instead.

Edit: some of it can be server dependant as well especially if the server hasn't had a restart in a while

ARMA 2 will use your CPU for graphics UNLESS you set Video Memory to Default then it will use your GPU or as much of it as it can
