Not to mention TESO butchers plenty of lore, so that's a silly debate to go into to begin with.
Nothing in that says it isn't canon. I knew people would Google-fu would mention that statement which is why I already pre-preemptively responded to it. That quote says the single player game and the MMO are separate games from separate studios, nothing in there talks about "canon" or lore specifically. If it does and I am mistaken please correct me. There is a possibility I am blind.
If you actually played other TES games, almost every TES game especially Skyrim has butchered lore at one point or another. There are significantly worst things butchered in single player TES games than in ESO. Since it takes part in a time period it doesn't "butcher" lore it adds to lore. That addition can go against some existing lore, but ZoS has already explained why that takes place.

I like the fact you tried to +1 a statement that was wrong and had no relevance to the discussion. I know you are trying to dig out of the hole you dug yourself into earlier. But honestly, it is easy to have an intelligent discussion without acting like you are.
At this point im fucking baffled by you. Do i need to continuously quote myself and you and prove that you cant read / dont read and just type unrelated bullshit and make weird ass claims out of your backside, whilst claiming the other person is doing exactly that?

No comprende.
Heres some clarity if my quote was a little too hard to understand.

I agree. Its very vague.
I knew people would Google-fu
Your google-fu is pretty fucking strong too, considering where that tweet came from.
Stop embarrassing yourself, start reading posts properly and stop being so argumentative when other people are only being accepting of things you say and/or discussing them calmly.
Exactly, my Google-fu is actually good and relevant to the discussion. You agree it is "vague" now after you got called out.

No offense, but I am not the one getting angry and throwing out personal attacks, you are.

Consumers should speak with their money, but the problem is they don't. ESO is the best selling gaming (#1 on PC, #2 on XBox One, #4 on PS4) at the moment on Amazon. So publishers will keep pulling these stunts because consumers can be stupid.
Its like you're seeing different words on your screen or something. Ive quoted you multiple times quoting me and saying it means the opposite. You're just making passive-aggressive posts constantly trying to make me look bad. "I agree its vague now after i got called out" when i was clarifying something you failed to read.
You constantly quote things and reply to posts and claim they mean opposites or completely different things, you dont expect me to question your ability to read after a while?
I make posts and all i get back is incoherent crap that im claiming something completely different. Then you brush off my arguements with passive aggressive bullshit. This has happened across the entire conversation. You're either a troll out to make himself look a fool or just a fool.
Either way i wont carry this on because i could talk about puppies and you'd quote me saying you think cats are cool too. Its just shit-flinging because you're incapable of having a discussion when people are amicable.
@Everyone, sorry, i was trying to talk about TESO for most of this.
Lol, there he goes again. I encourage everyone to read the conversation we had instead of reading his random 1 liners.

You have been saying "this is my last post" for the last 3-4 posts. You are focusing on me too much instead of the actual argument. Originally, my only point was that you were completely wrong about the trailer, and I told you exactly why including giving you examples of what these beings in the trailer fit in with TES lore. Instead of discussing the trailer you started talking about me and I responded the same, which I probably shouldn't have.
And you still continue to throw out personal attacks instead of having a discussion about what we originally said out to do, because you knew you were wrong about the trailer and the fact that it is "TES". And not "out of place" like you falsely stated.
Back on topic, there have been rumors that the Press NDA will be lifted this Friday. Hopefully there is some good info there. Also, if anyone wants a "play by play" of the Arrival trailer the video below runs it down fairly well:

Then they are okay with the practices. There's nothing to do, as long as people buy developers/marketing think they are doing the right thing, cant blame them.

Nah it's just like with elections. People vote and are uninformed or their voted parties won't hold their word, every cries and 4 years later everyone has forgotten. It's an endless circle. Memory of humans seems kinda weak.

Listen. This is completely off topic on this thread and I apologize for that. But you need to reread your entire conversation up there. You're literally attacking strawmen. Maybe you'll learn something about interacting with people in a manner that is called discussing while you're at it.

I agree, thanks for that comment bro, appreciate it.
Wow, so basically instead of having a $60 game with a collector's edition for the most diehard fans, it's effectively a $80 game. If this game were to be priced $80 off the start, it might not have done so well, but people are willing to pay the extra $20 in expectation that they are going to be ahead of everyone that didn't pay it. But now that almost everyone is paying for it, they managed to sell ESO as an $80 game. Apart from the obvious negative side of this, this was pretty well played by the marketing team.

It actually is pretty smart of them. The imperial edition is *just* 20$ more so people are pre-ordering it. I was debating on it, but then I realized I don't care enough about it to pay 20 extra dollars.

The paying for day 1 DLC race thing is disgusting. Before I just thought ESO would fail. Now I'm hoping it does.
Sets such a bad precedent for MMOs. What's disturbing is reading the ESO forums how many people are defending the decision and saying 20bucks is nothing. It has nothing to do with money and everything to do with principle. Zenimax BLATANTLY LIED TO YOU when they said there wouldn't be pay gates and you'd get 100% of the game up front. If they would lie about that, what else would they lie about? What makes you think this is the end of the road for their greedy shit?
I can't help but laugh at people who say the no faction lock won't matter b/c it's only for preorder people. You have to be pretty naive to think the company who would have day 1 racial in the box DLC wouldn't later add such an option to the cash shop... for a price. If they are doing it now it means they don't care about the affect of it on lore/PvP. Therefore, why wouldn't they make money on it later if the community is clearly showing they'll dish out the money for it.
Why is anyone actually still arguing about this game. It's going to be a gameplay fail, they'll soon run out of the money they made from sales due to marketing, Skyrim popularity and the very high price. It'll go pay2win within the next 12 months and be another meaningless game.
