In made a Dark Elf, picked up the Flame staff

completed the area 1 quests, got to level 2

full of other players, stuck now on loading screen after the Portal to Tameriel

Seems nice, don't seem to be leveling from jumping though

The loading screen took like 8 minutes for me but got in eventually

Wow so they're serious about the NDA, the game has a watermark of your E-mail address at all times so you can't screenshot

Wildstar does the samething but with your account name all over the screen.

I got an invite for this stress test but then decided I wouldn't even bother because it wouldn't even be worth trying.

I'm really surprised. The game is pretty fun, already lot more fun than Wildstar atm. But the Interface is pretty terrible, the Inventory is just as bad as in Vanilla-Skyrim - no idea what they thought with that.
And the performance is pretty solid even on Ultra High.

I like the controls, combat as a fire mage seems fluid.

Its is very linear so far, I would hope for more open world, screw the quest line mentality.

Its not going to be like Morrowind, but it might be good.

The interface is really made for consoles. If you click f on a player you get a console-like circle with options (whisper/trade/invite) - clearly made with gamepads in mind.

I was so excited for ESO but I have found my hype over the gaming dwindling over time. It seems like any news I hear about the game tends to be disappointing. Went from having P2P system while not having anything behind a pay-gate to now having a real-money shop. Then I heard the guilds are restricted to approximately 300 members and that there will be no public auction-house.

Considering the scope of the game, would rather have had a region locked auction-house based on cities or something so to make travelling and scoping out auction-houses fun. But now, I guess that is not a possibility.

I'm also a bit iffy on the cash shop. As long as it's just fun items and name changes, I'm fine with it, but once they start setting useful stuff, then no.

i imagine the linearity goes away after the early portion of the game. I think most MMO's are linear at first, from what I read on previews and stuff you can explore and all that just likle in oblivion/skyrim/morrowind.

Blade55555, I am not going to be participating in my stress test so I might be giving it to you but I am waiting on confirmation on a friend who also interested and if he isnt or is too busy then I will give it to you in the inbox. EIther way, I am kinda hoping for no auction hall because I am getting tired of auction hall in MMO. I wana see a new economy system honestly. I understand the eaze and the necessity of the auction in MMO but I wana see something different honestly. Even though I am pretty sure it will probably get change to an auction hall at one point, similar to how TERA used to be not have one but eventually they pretty much did.
I may not be the best, but i will be some day...

That would be awesome no offense but hope your friend isn't interested

Yeah I can see the point of getting rid of it but idk how they could do a new economy system other then I guess join 5 guilds and shop from there.

I actually agree with both the real money shop and no public auction house; always felt that auction houses marginalized the human element of the social experience of trading, and cosmetic microtransactions for name / server changes and vanity stuff will extend the lifespan of the game for everyone due to revenue generation, etc.
